"What a surprise! I thought I was renting a hotel room, but it turned out to be a Bed and Breakfast in a brand new building, with friendly hosts and an excellent, large, and clean room on the 3rd floor. I won't even mention the sauna, jacuzzi, fireplace, and buffet with hot and cold drinks (all included). I highly recommend it!"

"Neat and tidy little grandma's cabin. The wood burning fireplace was really special. Perfect for a week or weekend stay to investigate the area. Hemlock Farms itself is exceptionally well maintained. Brian, the host, is very forthcoming with all information and is incredibly quick to respond with answers to any questions you might have. Super nice people; cute, kitschy little part of the world."

"The home was beautifully styled and very spacious. We had several planned activities for my daughter’s 18th birthday, so we spent much of our time out enjoying the weekend. We especially enjoyed using the fire pit to make s’mores. We had planned to use the hot tub on Saturday, but it began to snow.Overall, the home was nice; however, there were a few concerns that should be addressed. The floor panels in the dining room area were coming up and should be looked at. Additionally, a family member nearly got hurt when attempting to sit in a chair in the upstairs bedroom with the loft bed, as one of the chair legs was broken. We also noticed a broken window and burns on the living room carpet.Lastly, I want to thank the homeowners for coming by promptly to shovel everything in time for us to check out after the overnight snowstorm. Overall, I would give a 4 out of 5 stars! "

"Living room and dining room were beautiful and very comfortable. Very pretty spot. Pet-friendly. Lovely fireplace.The lighting was an issue as a lot of the light switches i were not connected. Had to find the outlets in the bedrooms in the dark to plug in lamps. Check in brochure could have had more information. Very busy road."

"we stayed for a long Columbus Day weekend from Friday through Monday. Weather actually held out pretty nicely. Unfortunately, all of the boat rental places were already closed for the season so we weren’t able to do any pontoon rental. The dock also was already pulled out for the season, but that was OK cause we did the fishing right from the lake’s edge. The PROPERTY is as pictured. Our host Sandra was very helpful and available within minutes to answer any questions. The vibe of the house is truly a rustic Lakeside cabin.The house was clean, but there was a lot of clutter in drawers and cabinets. (would suggest removing the brooms and such from the front walkway to a more out of sight area) the outside deck and lower porch light didn’t appear to be working. It was hard to tell because also many light switches in the house are not marked which light that they turn on. One suggestion would be to clearly mark the light switches to which lights they do work for.That would help guests a great deal.The downstairs rec room is definitely a plus for family fun with the pool table, etc. Of note, the bathroom shower door, however, seem to stick and we didn’t want to force it. There is definitely a lot of moisture as one would expect down in the basement so understandably things like that do become an issue overtime.we enjoyed the fire pit two nights in a row.would be great to go back in the summertime for fun on the water. Family, friendly for sure.(must be able to manage steps.)"
