Top Beartooth Highway Hotel Reviews
Alpine Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Spacious, clean and updated room with very comfortable bed and great bathroom. Breakfast is made to order and delicious. The Owners are very friendly and happy to please."
Rock Creek Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We chose this place to stay since we were pulling a 40 ft trailer behind us on a trip and the map showed they had ample room to park. We didn't do much research on the resort as we were traveling from a work trip and heading home with time to spare. We were blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, hospitable the place was. It was Father's Day and they did a special outdoor grill with drinks for the fathers. The room wasn't ready when we arrived but they bought us some drinks while we waited. The staff was very friendly and shared the history of the resort along with the renovations that they did. The room had a lovely balcony that was backed up to the stream which was peaceful to listen to at night. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable for us. The breakfast was unique options and delicious. We had dinner in the restaurant which had the original bar from early 1900's and food was wonderful. I would love to return again one day."
Beartooth Hideaway Inn and Cabins
8/10 Good
"I liked almost everything. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was cold. I couldn’t reach anyone at the front desk. Although they gave a number to call. Other than that it was good. I would recommend it to my friends."
Elk Cabin - Mountain Views, Hear Rushing River, Private, Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"Nice cabin with a great view. Clean & comfortable, and a super nice big white dog named Maverick who kept us company while sipping a beer & taking in the view from the deck. Would definitely stay here again."
20 Min from Cooke City MT
10/10 Excellent
"So beautiful and the water and rocks were the cherry on top! Lots of mountains! The little towns were amazing!"
Hotel Expedition
8/10 Good
"Hotel Expedition is the classic old hotel/motel renovated into an "arty" cool property. I really like that look and so it works for me. The no human staff aspect worried me but it all worked out pretty smoothly. I did receive the text with the room # and the code for access. Check was not quite as smooth as there were no clear directions for how to check out. I managed to talk to housekeeping staff and although friendly, they could not help me with check out directions. We ended up asking one of the women to text the owners and let them know that we had left. The property is across the street from a nice sized river which was very relaxing. The town of Red Lodge is also very charming and I really enjoyed our time there. Hotel Expedition is easy walking distance to the heart of the town. I would stay at this property again but some of the amenities were lacking. Examples: sauna not functional and directions via QR code not helpful, jacuzzi apparently working but didn't look that clean, wall clock not working, etc,...little stuff like that but really didn't bother me that much. This place seems like a perfect fit for younger travelers. If not expecting a higher end property, this place could be perfect for you."
