"5 of us really enjoyed our 4-night stay here. The place was clean and well-furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. The owner was friendly, helpful, responsive. One of us uses a wheelchair or a walker, and was generally quite comfortable. I discovered I could get her up the one step onto the porch and into the house by tipping and lifting the wheelchair. Some of the carpets slowed her down a little, but she enjoyed the stay. Great to have the lake and Madeleine Island right out the windows."

"The whole house is immaculate and our unit was the same. The only downside was that our unit at the top of the house was pretty cozy, i.e., small. The bathroom was actually pretty spacious but the bedroom was crowded for just the 2 of us. No false advertising, just small. The views in all directions were glorious. We enjoyed walking around Bayfield and getting in some great hikes along the national lakeshore."

We appreciated the text that notified us of an early check-in opportunity but we had some stops on the road, so didn’t get there in time to take advantage of that. "Cannot stress enough how great the Andrew Tate Condos are to stay in when visiting Bayfield. Great quality for the price and right in the heart of downtown Bayfield so within walking distance of everything! This was our first time in the city and are definitely going to go back and stay at these condos. 5 Star rating!"

"It’s a wonderful location, beautiful panoramic views of Lake Superior. Jack is an excellent host. We really enjoyed talking to him. Our only complaint would be that there was a big step up in the bathroom. It was difficult to manage & not very safe. It would be very easy to trip on this in the middle of the night. And the bath towels could have been larger. We loved the Bayside area!"
