The room was spotless, decorated beautifully, quiet, had bathrobes to use in sauna, was prepped for our arrival both temperature and lit, had access to a coffee and beverage bar down the hall, and bottles of water in the room. Has elevator AND stairs to rooms on second floor. The Social Club downstairs was accessible inside the building, again decorated well, comfortable seating and inviting. The staff were excellent, sociable, informative about events in the area and helpful. Would love to return! A home away from home.

BAYFIELD’S BEST

Beautiful new space to enjoy everything Bayfield has to offer. Wonderful decor, fantastic amenities, and rooftop space! Spent time enjoying the authentic sauna and clean coffee bar. Easy check-in and can’t wait to come back to the space once construction of the first floor is complete. Would recommend this spot to anyone traveling in the area!

Everything is new and top quality. Didn’t get to use it but had a really nice sauna. Coffee and tea bar as well as a wine and beer bar/ restaurant on the main floor. Too cool yet to enjoy the roof top deck but it was really nice as well

Our room was newly and handsomely renovated with a very comfortable bed and nice amenities. Our particular room was quite small (had to open suitcase on top of the bed) but I’m told they have other larger rooms. Restaurant downstairs is superb for dinner. No front desk; electronic check-in, but owners were responsive online.

This place is money! You feel like you are in a cool metropolitan stay in the heart of a city, but it’s in small town Bayfield. We stayed there to go to a concert and were so pleased with this place that we will make the trip back up there again just to stay at the S J Social. The rooms are so cool. There is a turntable in each room, excellent decor, a coffee in bar down the hall, a sauna and a private rooftop sitting area. I would live in this place! The restaurant and bar downstairs is amazing. Get up there and stay…it’s so worth the drive.

Not what I was looking for to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were disappointed. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Over priced and we were to have a courtyard view and all we saw was a roof and alleyway. European breakfast was at the end of hallway and had fruit coffee, tea, english toast, yogurt. For over $400.00 was expecting a little more for the price.

Groovy but no service.

Hotel tried to be trendy and groovy. Seems like that means no service. Never saw a staff member. Room was not cleaned. Continental breakfast was a joke. We expected them to tell us to vacuum and wash the windows. Interaction was by text messages telling us what to do. Room was trendy but did not have a decent place to sit. Would never recommend this hotel to friends.
