"The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very nice. We used the pool and jacuzzi which we found to be well maintained and as we would have wanted. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner although the service at breakfast was disappointing as our coffee was forgotten. All in all a very pleasant stay (our two sons were playing in the PGA golf competition) and the course was beautiful."

"Very quaint and quirky. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved that Harry Potter was filmed here and there is so much history. We only spent an overnight stay as we were at a wedding, but wished we had more time. Highly recommend."

"A lovely room with good amenities. The included breakfast was a useful start to the day. There were limited gluten free options but enough for a decent breakfast. Loved the snug as somewhere to chill in the evenings. It’s a shame we came when there was no food available in the evening but the Italian next door was wonderful. Only negative for me was lack of parking onsite. As a disabled person it was a little tricky to negotiate unloading and managing the stairs so maybe something to consider if you’re in the same position."

"Amanda and her family were so welcoming and friendly. The cottage was ideally placed to tour the area. It is snug, warm and plenty big enough for 2 people.We visited the REME museum, the motor museum at Calne, Bath city centre, Devizes on market day (Thurs) and the GWR rail museum and designer outlet at Swindon. Bath city centre has lots of car parks walking distance from the centre and lots different eateries. Devizes has a traditional market (indoor and outdoor) and is well worth a visit. The GWR museum and designer outlet use the same car park where it costs Â£2 for 5 hours. Plenty of time to see the trains and then buy lots of chocolate at the Cadbury shop.Also worth a visit is the Foxham Inn. It's a little pricey but the food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. The roads around the cottage are narrow but there are lots of passing places and most people we met drive with care and curtesy.We had a brilliant week at the brewhouse and would not hesitate to go again."
