I'm originally from New Orleans and really have a bad impression of most of Baton Rouge, until tonight at least. I really can't put into words how this area and the people are completely different than most of what I've experienced here, but I felt like I was back in Uptown New Orleans again. The property itself, area, and host were all amazing and very helpful. Only issue we encountered was a pushy Uber driver who got us for triple the fee we paid to go downtown on the same trip back. He insisted on the car we let him in to use the bathroom so I asked if he wanted anything to eat. We told him there were cameras and we couldn't have additional guests to which he left pretty quickly lol. Property was so cute, clean and the people were so nice. Only caveat is if you have mobility issues, this is a second floor unit and the steps are steep. This is made obvious in the ad. Patrick was very prompt and polite with all communication and I highly recommend. We were two women walking alone all the way downtown and never felt uncomfortable.
