The beds were cozy, the bathrooms were spotless, and the kitchen was a great size for cooking and gathering. The hostess was very accommodating, quick to respond, and incredibly friendly. I’ve stayed in many homes in Baton Rouge, and this is definitely one of the top ones.It was a little hard to find, and there was some construction on the main road during my stay, but that was no fault of the property itself. I had to complete the entire survey in order to submit this so I gave all the questions 5 stars because of past reviews. It would be nice if owner would post rules for power outages for future guests. Owner expected us to stay somewhere else for the 1st night while power got restored and then pack up and return to her condo for the 2nd night rental. Owner only refunded one night and would not return the cleaning fee. She just stated that was policy. We never entered the condo. When she said she would cancel the reservation I assumed she was canceling the entire reservation. A power outage is no one’s fault, but the owner could not honor the 2 night rental forcing us to find other accommodations at 8pm the night of check-in. The beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed having our own private bathrooms. Our host, Brenda, was so friendly and welcoming.
