Home from home

This is the second time we have used Weston Lawn as its near a family member. The owners are really friendly and helpful and provide a delicious continental breakfast in the room. Fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, fruit compote breads and jams as well as every sort of cereal and of course tea, coffee etc. We particularly like the fact that there is a separate living room/kitchen in which to relax. (Washing machine, dishwasher also provided) Wifi is good and in the summer there is a nice patio area. If we are being picky the bathroom is a little dated and the TV is on the small side however these are only small issues that don't spoil the overall experience. The property is at the back of the owners house and a walk across the garden to it does involve some steep steps.

For the price it was amateurish. Moldy smell requires the windows and door open in the cottage. Mattress was horrible.

Calming, clean and comfortable

We had a really fabulous three days at Weston Lawn. The room was large, like a mini apartment, with en suite, sitting area, mini kitchen area (for the breakfast things provided in-room) and the bed was big and cosy. Of special delight was the daily scones and homemade jam provided in the room, a welcome afternoon tea after all our walking around Bath. You can drive from the property to the nearby city centre and park, or park up near Victoria Park and walk down to the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa etc. There is just so much to do and we are glad we made this much time to do it all. It is a great base to explore from. We are just very disappointed that there is no availability to us in August as we are returning with our daughter - home from Uni - and her Godmother!
