« This cabin has been one of my favorite stays and I've been coming to Snowshoe regularly for 15 years. Very secluded and cozy cabin with amazing mountain views. Modern entertainment inside. The fireplace out on the deck is a great place to relax. Kitchen has everything you need to cook whatever you want. Communication with the host, as well as check in/checkout went very smooth. Fully stocked Dollar General and gas station roughly 12-15min. away. »

« My husband and I love this cabin and want to go back in the Spring. The property is gorgeous and very private. The sounds and views of the Maury River from the porch was very relaxing. We noticed people walking, biking and jogging on a trail on the opposite side of the river and discovered that they were on a portion of the Chessie Trail. We drove to one of the nearby trail access areas and took our two dogs on a 3 mile walk. What a treasure! »

« This was a repeat visit and the cabin was as great as it was before. Perched on a bluff overlooking a bend in the James River, the cozy log cabin provided a wonderful winter retreat for our family of 5 adults. Elizabeth is a great host, the directions were spot-on, and the bedroom are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Thoroughly enjoyed it once again. »

« The host is a bit overbearing, with text and emails. We have stayed at multiple rentals and like to be left alone.Amenities, 1) Washer-dryer unit by the kitchen table DOES NOT have a door, very load.2) Coffee maker which is an easy fix does NOT work, doesn't brew, huge problem for equestrians and guests3) Drain in bathrooms upstairs were disgusting. We bought draino and cleaned.Rest of the house was fine. Would recommend keyless entry.Thanks, Hilary Keller 804-592-7160 »

« When you step in this cabin, you immediately feel like you would want this for a home. It was spacious and we were a party of 6 adults. Very comfortably furnished, very clean and great supplies. Full kitchen with some dry goods, lots of dishes,silverware, cups, and even wine glasses and a drink shaker. Also 2 types of coffee makers. I know all of these are listed amenities but we were all still impressed. There were only 2 tiny complaints. Every door hinge was very squeaky so it was easy to wake...
