Bates Lake Tours and Activities

It's a very well maintained inn / abnb, we just needed a good night's sleep and Europa Inn gave us more than that. We didn't know the front desk closes at 6pm when we arrived at 8pm,but the staff came to open the door when we called. Also staff was very helpful, we needed some cutlery and he was able to help us find it. Room was very, very clean. It was a bit small and quite dated but it didn't bother us for a good night sleep. A good hotel. The included breakfast is reasonable and the free parking is a perk. A thing to be aware of is that to walk into the city you have to cross over a busy road where one section has no pedestrian crossing.

The hotel is quite dated with narrow hallways and older carpeting. Our room, however was clean with vinyl flooring and a walkout to a well-kept grassy area facing the water. There were two lawn chairs, a table and exterior light which is a great setup for watching the sunset and for morning coffee. The pool area was not very appealing and at no point in our stay did I see anyone in the pool area or the pool itself. Coffee, tea, yogurt and donuts were available in the lobby. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
