"The staff was not always at the front desk, but always available when I called them with the phone on the desk. The breakfast was not a robust as some hotels, but it was clean, and what was provided was well stocked and tasty. The pool areas was kept clean and is very inviting. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows provided a comfortable nights sleep. I was on the second floor and it was quiet all night. This was probably the darkest room I have stayed in for some time. The bathroom was bright, but the entryway and bedroom had no overhead light, leaving only two "desk" style laps for the entire room. The Fridge in the room was useful, but I rarely find that these are cold enough for very long. The shower had good pressure, but the shower curtain was quite old and torn along most of the rings that hold it to the bar. The bathroom fan did not run when you turned on the one light switch in the bathroom, causing the bathroom and mirror to steam up easily. The iron and ironing board worked well, and I was glad to have them. The hotel looks older, and the carpet showed significant wear. My family enjoyed the mints and hot cocoa at check-in, and breakfast."
