"Excellent experience. Loved the place. The space and the service."

"The staff was friendly and very accomidating We did not like the parking fees pernight on site valetparking. But we did end up paying those fees because we couldfigure out the scanning meters option.however the valet parking ended up being very convenient and a quick way to make sure the car was safely parked and easily accessible. And the parking guys were very efficient and quick to get our car when we needed it. The lobby staff were great very accommodating. And eager to assist with any of our needs.i even became an honors member and was able to check in early.and move from a king bed after 3days to a room with 2 queens for our last day. So that we could go to the hit the decks celebration downtown.no issues really. The staff was the best. All of them were very helpful suggesting eateries and things to check out downtown.very pleased with our stay."

"Great place to stay! Parking is easy (one car per room clearly marked). Breakfast is healthy with fresh fruit of all kinds, yogurt, cereals, fresh bread products to toast, good coffee. If you need bacon and eggs you can easily find it nearby. "

"The staff was very helpful. The hotel and room was clean. They had a very nice selection of Hartley & Son's Tea which was a nice break from the same ol' Bigelow. I don't eat breakfast, so can't comment. Even though the room was clean and nice - if you get a room in the front of the hotel by the parking lot - you can hear all the cars driving by. So make sure to have a noise app on your phone. Other than that - great stay and would recommend."

"Convenient location, friendly staff and clean modern room"

"I stayed in room 102 and it did not look like the pictures. The room itself was okay. But the bathroom looked like it was a remodel job that stopped part of the way through and they kept all the old stuff. For example one of the blinds was partly cut off. The linoleum floor had these weird spots on it, the tub looked like some of the glaze came off and they tried to paint new glaze over it and they must have put up a new vanity but didn’t paint over where the old vanity was. The toilet was squeezed in the corner with the sink right in front so there was barely enough room to get to the toilet let alone actually go! I’m sure the rest of the rooms look like the ones in the pictures, but if they give you 102, ask for a new room!"

"Beautifully kept old style hotel. Great woodwork natural light, sitting rooms with fireplaces. Rooms are clean and well maintained, nice breakfast/ buffet. Excellent location"

"Great location right on York Beach. Rooms are accessible from the car park if you are on the ground floor. Room is very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom a tad on the small side but shower was good. I would definitely stay here again no hesitation."

"The Night employee Tom was awesome. He gave us an idea where to go have breakfast. He was a big help. Most of the hotel was closed for renovations. The price was okay for not having normal amenities. The bed was comfortable. Other than lots of construction on property, it was okay."
