« We had a good time in NH! The cottage was very clean, the living area is very spacious, and everything close to a nice lake! Here are few things that we liked a bit less : - The back of the couch was broken - Many dishes were dirty, and the kitchen lacked of few basic things (cutting board, water kettle, non stick pan for eggs, etc.) - Sleeps 5 but w chairs on the table inside »

« Easy access to the lake. 15 minute walk to a much bigger "beach" area. Full kitchen well stocked with necessities. Keurig for fresh coffee was a bonus. Didn't use the hot ton because it was raining. Fire pit was a hit. Plenty of backyard space for the dog, not fenced in. Great stay with easy to use A/C and heating unit. »

« There aren’t enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at the Red Rose Cottage. Set in the beautiful countryside of Maine, no better place to rest and relax. It was our first stay but not our last. »

« This is a classic old-style cabin that reminded us of our childhood family trips in the 60’s. It’s not new, but a heck of a lot of fun if you’re in the right head space. Easily walked to town for dinner and to the shore. Clean and had everything we needed. »

« First cabin we had booked was never cleaned from the previous guests. We moved to a second cottage that was okay. Beds were too small for two adults and very uncomfortable. One towel and wash cloth per person is not enough for a week »

« My bed was broken to the point where I was sleeping at an angle & The couch bed was nasty it had stains and dirt all over it , The bunk beds were like taking a trip to bar heaven it was truly a painful stay »

« Great place for a night. One minor issue we encountered was ran both space heaters on separate outlets (one in bedroom and one in kitchen) and kept popping one of the breakers so we could only run one space heater that was provided. »

« The photos do not accurately convey how small this cottage was. There is a porch maybe 4 feet deep and 20 feet wide that is unheated and also contains the kitchen. Pass through a sticky door and you're in the bedroom which has maybe 30" of space on either side of a queen bed. There's a sketchy looking ladder to a loft space that a toddler couldn't stand up in. The entire building isn't level. The bed frame was failing to the point that it felt like a sneeze in the middle of the night would...
