This cozy cottage is scenically situated near the shores of Barnstable Harbor on Cape Cod Bay, offering lovely views of the water and Sandy Neck Lighthouse. Walk home from the adjacent private beach each afternoon to cook up some fresh local lobster in the full kitchen, use the grill to host a summertime barbecue with loved ones, and soak in the majestic view as you dine on the private deck.

What's nearby:
This cottage sits 100 yards from the Cape Cod Village private beach, where you can walk the flats at low tide and enjoy the beautiful bayfront scenery. But there are many other fun things to do besides relaxing on the beach! You'll be down the street from the Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can stroll along nature trails, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard with your family. Golfers can also tee off at the Bayberry Hills Golf Course less than five miles south.

Peaceful and cozy

I was a little concerned about when I’d get check in details. It all worked out but was hard to find out with out calling a few times. As described and nice. Fans and AC helped for upstairs temp control.

Beautiful Spot, Cottage Needs Serious Updating

The location is great, and that's what you pay for. But the cottage is dark and damp, the kitchen is miniscule and the bed in the master bedroom was awful--the mattress felt like a box spring. The AC was a portable unit in the master with a big metal tube that ran behind the bed and was super noisy. The toilet upstairs is literally a closet and my husband kept hitting his head on the sloped ceiling. The living room has upholstered furniture that needs to be replaced with something easier to keep clean. The kitchen was greasy inside the cabinets, the toaster oven knob was broken and there was literally no room to prepare any food. In short, expensive and not at all comfortable. Would not rent there again.

Cute house, but kitchen was pretty grungy including mold on all pots/pans. Had to wash everything at move-in. Storm Ida windows leaked profusely; chimney ash blew into house making lower floor unusable. We could not wait to leave.

Barnstable escape

We had a fantastic trip at this charming cottage. The location was fantastic, slightly off the beaten path but close to everything you would need. It was a much needed escape with a feel of summers past.

Perfect getaway spot

My wife and I came here for a babymoon before #2 is born, we don't regret it. The cottage was quiet and cozy, yet had plenty of space. The beach was just a short walk away and is totally private. We would 100% come back again.

Cottage was cute and well appointed. We were disappointed with the conditions though. The screen door was broken. So leaving the slider open for a breeze was not an option. Too cluttered for a rental. Good storage, grill was filthy.

Best vacation yet!

Perfect house for our family of 5 with young children. A short walk to a sandy beautiful beach. The house was well provisioned for guests, clean and comfortable. Would book again in the future!

Our Stay on Cape Cod

The house and location was wonderful! The living and kitchen are small as described. We loved how you could see and hear the ocean from the windows and deck. At low tide you can walk way out and explore almost to Sandy Point. If you want a quite get a way with no hassles.....this is it.

Cozy Cluttered Cottage

The cottage was just perfect for myself and my daughter, who had just come back from her deployment. We really loved staying there, there was everything that we needed for cooking, and the place was clean enough, the beds were all made and the bedrooms were clean, the towels were nice and fluffy and the added beach towels were a nice touch.The one thing that I would recommend is to get rid of all of the nick, knacks, fake flowers, etc ... etc...This would leave some room for the guests belongings, and it would feel less cluttered and appear a bit bigger. I would definitely rent this little cottage again.
