"Our standard poodle, Lucy, absolutely loved the property, the pond, the woods, the bed! Everything was immaculate, and all the little things we didn't think of as first time renters, Kristin did! She was awesome! From detailed directions for the wood furnace to the little book light on the side table, to the pile of books. It was all there to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We hope to be back!"

"Simple, easy getaway"

"A Beautiful property!!! We had a group of 6 gather here from all different locations, and we were thrilled with the place! The Lake Superior views are the highlight, for sure, but also the kitchen was very well equipped and huge enough for all of us to be working, prepping, & cleaning up. The main living area was so welcoming with windows on 2 sides, we gathered there every day and savored nature being all around us. We loved the huge dining table for meals as well as doing creative projects together. We found the layout of the house a bit confusing at first, but we all adjusted and thoroughly enjoyed the spacious layout!! We were there too early in the spring to be able to properly enjoy the great outdoor spaces - we'll be back in warmer weather!! It's a beautiful location, a beautiful property, and beautifully equipped!! We will for sure rent this place again! Thank you."

"It was such a nice little hide away! The location was easy to get to. The place was very cute inside & outside! Quite a few fun things to go do or just to relax! The jacuzzi was very nice to use & relax in! We def want to visit again! "

"This is the 3 rd time we have stayed at Brookside. It is clean, quiet and the bed is so comfy. In the pines is beautiful. Also, I am a dog lover. I have an English Cocker. He is well behaved. The fact that we could have my boy along was a “ huge” factor."

"I don't believe that there's a kitchen available. They do have in-room coffee maker, coffee, electric tea kettle and tea bags. There's also a small fridge and microwave."
