"Start with the positive. Room was ok clean and bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking. First issue was open packet of body cream and no hangars, but they were replaced after trip to office. This indicates cleaning not thorough. No coffee maker in room. Coffee in the office only. There is no daily housekeeping. I guess I could ask for new towels and washcloths, but it says they had daily housekeeping. Only 2 flimsy plastic cups which broke when I opened the pack and ready for bed, so no going to the office. The bar soap was so small it fell apart the 2nd day. Not enough shampoo. They need to upgrade the amenities or replace daily, without a trip to the office. Room can use some repairs, but I believe they are updating."

"We had a negative experience. We stayed 3 nights. On our second night , housekeeping changed our towels but did nothing else to service the room. We reported this to the front desk (Gregory) who said he would take care of it. On the third night, the room was not serviced at all. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:30 a.m. and we were still in the room. The housekeeper saw us leave our room about 30 minutes later. When we returned, once again our room had not been serviced. We again reported to the front desk and were told that since we didn't let housekeeping in at 10:30 that morning that there would be no further return to service the room. What??? We were astounded and insisted that the room be serviced. The desk person (Gregory again) took care of it but not graciously...not even an apology.. It was our fault that we did not accommodate housekeeping's schedule. We checked out the next morning and the front desk manager (Kelly) was present so we described our experience. She was very apologetic and comped us breakfast. Please know that the staff in the restaurant and bar were wonderful along with the desk manager during the day, Nick. The food in the restaurant was good too."

"This hotel is new I think. We never did figure out the lighting in the room! Otherwise very nice and quiet and clean. Close to everything we wanted to do. Easy parking. I missed the breakfast but it looked good!"

"Such a lovely place and peaceful environment. Really enjoyed having my morning espresso listening to the birds and taking in the fresh spring smells.. The host was really responsive and did a great job of setting up the property to enjoy relaxing time in the country"
