Check in was a breeze and the young woman at the desk was friendly. She told us when the fire would be started in the outdoor fireplace that night. We took advantage of the warm November night and sat by the fireplace..That was a great perk!

We loved staying here! Andrew and the young lady who checked us in were fantastic. Ask Andrew to use his homemade simple syrup in your Old Fashioned…you’ll love it!

Staying at the motel was a unique experience. It reminded me of when I was a kid and we would stay at motels on vacation. The rooms are nicely updated while retaining the ambiance of staying at a motor lodge in the 60's. It was a very enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was the room would get very warm at night, and when we adjusted the temperature on the thermostat, and eventually turned it off, the heat still came on, and the room remained very warm. I would highly reccommend the Bardstown Motor Lodge for people looking for a more interesting experience than a typical hotel.

Bardstown Retro Oasis

Very clean and quiet rooms. Updated rooms, retro style, really comfortable beds. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Great oasis with a nice pool that is walking distance to Bardstown. Mixed drinks and bar at the pool.

Everyone was so personable. I arrived to a warm room that was clean and comfy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very easy to access the Bourbon Trail.

I would 100% stay here again. We loved the heated pool and fire pits with free smores kits. The room was comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed. I highly recommend eating at Toogie's Table. The food was great and they offered deals for hotel guests.

Room is real comfy, beds are great. They have a saltwater pool at 93 degrees! The staff was so friendly, makes you feel real welcome. The hotel is real close to the downtown area and right across the street is the My Old Kentucky Home State Park!

We loved our stay at the Bardstown Motor Lodge! Our room was clean, updated, and had such a large, cozy bed. The lodge was also so convenient to all the restaurants and shops in town. We went to Bernheim Forest, Lincoln’s Birth Place National Park, and Mammoth Cave which were all just a short drive away. We also enjoyed the fire pits toasting marshmallows each night. Such a great place- we’ll definitely be back!

Cool Retro Motor Lodge

Perfect accommodations for a stay on the Bourbon Trail. Very cool retro motor lodge that is very clean. The fire pits are a great place to sit and sip after a day of running around. Will definitely be back.
