  • (This property is registered with the Town of Bar Harbor, License #VR2R26-299.) Please note, during the summer weeks, we prefer a weekly rental with a 7 night minimum stay. All other stays require a four night minimum stay per town rules.

    WELCOME TO NUT HATCH!

    Nut Hatch is a 3-bedroom home located in a quiet Bar Harbor neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown. It's a wonderful home base for families and groups who want convenient access to Bar Harbor's restaurants, shops and attractions while also being close to Acadia National Park.

    Nut Hatch comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests with three bedrooms upstairs. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms each have a queen bed and share a full bathroom.

    All three bedrooms have their own air-conditioning units, and the first floor is also air conditioned for your comfort.

    THE HOME

    The main floor features a comfortable living room with a sectional sleeper sofa and chairs, along with a Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops, a dining table for six and an eat-in island for two.

    There's also a convenient half bathroom and laundry area with washer and dryer. The back deck is a great place to relax after a day of hiking, sightseeing or exploring Bar Harbor. Enjoy a meal outside, fire up the grill, or simply sit back with a good book.

    The home also includes dedicated off-street parking and bike storage in the walk-down basement

    A GREAT LOCATION FOR BAR HARBOR AND ACADIA

    One of Nut Hatch's greatest advantages is its location.
    You can easily walk into downtown Bar Harbor to enjoy the shops, restaurants or take a stroll along the waterfront, then return to the quieter surroundings of the neighborhood at the end of the day.

    For cyclists and hikers, Duck Brook Road is a short bike ride away and provides access to Acadia's famous carriage roads and numerous hiking trails.

    The Island Explorer offers free seasonal bus service around Mount Desert Island, while access to Acadia's Park Loop Road is just a short drive away. If golf is your thing, historic Kebo Valley Golf Club is also nearby. Established in 1888, Kebo is the oldest golf club in Maine and the eighth-oldest in the United States, and is open to public play.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful 6 night stay in Bar Harbor. The condo was one of the best we have ever stayed in! Very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Great communication from property manager as well.

Late fall trip

This was our 4th stay at the property and continue to appreciate the accommodations and location. It's an easy walk/bike ride into the park or town and perfect access to the many sites around Mount Desert Island.

Great Clean Townhouse near Downtown Bar Harbor

The place was extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a Bar Harbor/Acadia vacay. Checkin was easy and the place was super clean. For our group, the only downside was the lack of a yard for outdoor relaxing. We’d definitely stay again!

Pleasent accomodations

The property was very nice and clean. The proximity to the heart of the village was a little far to walk but otherwise the property was private, quiet and a short drive to what we wanted to see. The kitchen was stocked nicely with basics and the bedrooms were comfortable.

Great Location beautiful condo

This condo was great for us. The location was centrally located to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. We ate at several wonderful restaurants including the Chart Room and Gayln’s. Hiked a few trails at Acadia and took a nature boat cruise of Frenchman’s Bay. The condo was well equipped and beds were comfortable.

Great location

This comfortable townhouse was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were a bit firm. Walking distance to Bar Harbor for shopping and dining and a short drive to Acadia National Park. I would recommend it.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Bobby’s condo! The location is perfect Acadia and Bar Harbor, just a short couple of miles! The condo is clean and comfortable. It has everything (and more) that you’ll need! There are games stored in the family room table that my kids enjoyed while the adults propped up our feet from long hikes at Acadia. Would stay there again!

Perfect home base for exploring Acadia!

Clean and comfortable, perfect amount of space for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) to explore Acadia and enjoy Bar Harbor. Entrance to the carriage roads by bike literally around the corner without having to go on major roads - perfect for cyclists! Bit of a walk to town but we wanted to be closer to the park. Beds comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen well equipped. We will be back!

Great Acadia and Bar Harbor Stay

Location is fantastic being walking distance to downtown although there are no sidewalks so get there and back is a little dicey. Only 10-15 min away from main attractions in Acadia. House is layed out very well with plenty of space for my family of 4 and dog. House is part of a condo complex tucked away from the main roads. Bobby was responsible s and helpful. We will be back !

Perfect Location for Acadia Visit

We enjoyed our stay at the Nut Hatch very much. The location is perfect for hiking in Acadia, as well as visits downtown. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the top of Cadillac Mountain from the condo, which worked out perfectly the morning we watched the sunrise. We were also pleasantly surprised to discover the Duck Brook entrance to the carriage roads was within walking distance. In addition to the great location, the property had everything we needed and was spacious and comfortable for a group of four adults and two dogs. Bobby was quick to respond to questions and proactive in reaching out prior to our visit. We would be happy to make a return trip to Bar Harbor and stay at the Nut Hatch again.

Feels Like Home

This house is walking distance to downtown but the road isn’t ideal for walking. We did it a few times but chose to Uber most of the time because it wasn’t expensive given the short distance to town. Those that are comfortable with driving or using Uber won’t have any issue with this properties location. The house is SUPER close to Acadia park entrance, which is really nice. The house was very comfortable. It felt cozy like you were staying in your own home. Very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need - washer/dryer, spices, cookware, etc. We had our mini bernedoodle with us and the grass areas around the property were perfect for a little play and bathroom breaks. The host was quick to respond and accommodating with adjusting check in/out times. If we come back to Bar Harbor, this is where we’ll be staying.
