The property was great. We went to the campfires a couple of nights. There is a nice winery within walking distance. Our door stuck pretty badly. Request to not stay in 14. Our only real issue is the bed was not great. My wife and I are older. We have a very nice mattress at home because of our backs.

Great location
As mentioned in other reviews, the room is small however, it was all that two people needed. Love the location because it was an easy drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. There was a fire pit that was lit each night and overall we had a great stay here and would stay again.

Thank you for your review! Our property is targeted at those who are exploring the Acadia National Park and need a clean place to lay their head and shower. All our queen rooms are economy rooms and are not advertised as anything else.

I cannot believe we paid this much money for the smallest bathroom and room ever. Plus when we arrived, we had to physically remove several crickets from the room. This property is way overpriced, and we should have stayed a few miles down the room for half the cost. The people who worked there were nice enough and must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Small but lovely room.
The room was very small but with all the standard accommodations. The bed I think I was a standard Queen, tiny coffee pot, tiny desk, tiny TV, tiny shower, tiny sink. Everything was clean, there was a tiny A/C wall unit and tiny heater, but I didn't need either while I was there. There was also a mini fridge that I didn't really expect so that was a bonus. The ice/laundry room across the parking lot had a toaster oven and microwave for guests to use. The biggest problem was a lack of weather stripping on the door which lead sound and light to come straight in, if there had been cold air that would have come in as well. I would hope they'd fix that now that I brought it to their attention.

Older roadside place but about what you would expect. Noisy heater, tiny bathroom, but cozy enough for a couple of nights. Decent breakfast, friendly clerk.

Typical, but small, cheaper hotel.
Typical roadside motel. Cheaper options are very limited in Bar Harbor, so this is the best choice we found. Our room was very small, with very little flat space available. We had to put our large suitcase in the floor and move it each time we opened the door. They are doing the best they can with the space available. It was fairly clean. The staff was very helpful. A guest laundry is available, which was just in time for us, and greatly appreciated. Above average continental breakfast.

I’ve stayed here a few times (and will again). The other reviews are still spot on - small rooms, small bathroom and shower but as a place to lay your head while in Acadia, not sure what more you’d really need. Friendly staff, far enough off the road for most rooms to not hear traffic (though you can hear the neighbors). Only reason it’s a 4-star versus previous 5 ratings is that their price is catching up with other “proper” hotels. Whereas before it was a great value, now more a good value. Still recommend!

Was a nice place to stay while in Bar Harbor. Not fancy but the price was right and the place was clean and beds were as comfi as 5 star hotels but with good sheets and not as plush. Nice breakfast and had ice and a microwave available 24/7. Would stay again

Very Small rooms
Disappointingly Small and uncomfortable. The double bed occupies 80% of the room. It is extremely tiny. The bathroom has no room to move and the shower smaller than a phone booth with a shower head lower than the 5 foot mark. We stayed two night and moved to another hotel. Breakfast is served in the office with no inside seating. On a rainy day, this is a problem! Do not expect more than a toasted bagel, coffee, cereal and fruit. If you wanted more than a 5 oz apple juice you had to purchase it. We went to take a dip in the pool and found it filled with Algae. The location is also 8.5 miles from the center of Bar Harbor. We thought it was closer. Good points included the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. Check in and Check out was quick and easy. Although small, the rooms were clean and it looked like they had recently been renovated. They also have a large area for nightly campfires and sell Smore's Kits. Suggest spending a few more dollars for larger accomodations closer to town. BUT if you're a single or couple and don't mind tight spaces it could be a bargain!

Some units a bit dated. In the process of renovations, so some good and some features needing improvement. Walls don't block sound to adjacent rooms and unfortunately the State was doing night paving on the road out front. Kept the AC fan on all night to mask noise.
