Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota on the Ridge, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom main floor (entry level, no stairs) condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace and amazing mountain views. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a nap…. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air while gazing at the mountains and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Rainy Weekend Among the Clouds

Rainy weekend was salvaged by our unit. Clean, updated, and artfully decorated, it was a perfect place to enjoy the rain and the fog. At times the view from the porch was breathtaking. Plenty of cooking gear in the kitchen also helped the staying in. We were able to enjoy a nice hike on the way out so we'll call it even with Mother nature.

Really enjoyed our stay at this cozy condo! The view was beautiful! Good set up with 2 separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms and plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again!

Be forewarned. Tricky additional fees!

The unit was nice. I don't want to complain against the owners. My issue is that after you book it (without opportunity to cancel) the property management company tacks on an astronomical amount of additional fees. VRBO won't permit including the amount.) When I got the confirmation from VRBO, the cost--including a few extra fees--was what I expected. Then I get a confirmation from Foscoe Rentals with all their extra fees-- again VRBO won't let me say the exact fees, but let me tell you I could have gotten two more nights somewhere else for what they added. By the time I got the receipt with all the extra fees, it was too late to cancel for a refund. Just seems like a shady way to do business to me. Will not rent from Foscoe Rentals again.

Great property

Can't say anything bad about our stay. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Cutlery and utensils were better quality than what you would find in most homes. About 15-20 minutes from Sugar Ski Resort and about 30 from Beech Mountain Ski. The property was nice. Never made it to the property amenities - looked nice driving by. We were pleasantly surprised with the property and especially with our unit. Foscoe Rentals was easy to deal with. Would stay again.
