Nestled in the mountainside of the distinctive Lodges of Eagles Nest community, Walker's Ridge is ideally located on the front side of the mountain between the main gate (only minutes from the charming town of Banner Elk) and the Great Camp, the heart of the community featuring some of Eagles Nest most popular amenities.

Walker's Ridge, a stunning, newly built, luxury mountain home blends elegance and comfort in over 3,700 sq. ft. of heated and cooled living space and nearly 1,400 sq. ft. of deck and covered porches. An open-concept main level seamlessly blends the roomy living area, an expanded dining space, and kitchen into a warm, inviting, and spacious area for gathering with family and friends. The great room features a stacked-stone gas fireplace, a tongue-and-groove vaulted ceiling, and floor-to-ceiling windows providing year-round, layered mountain views, including Grandfather Mountain. Built for entertaining and preparing meals together, the gourmet kitchen is well-equipped with abundant cabinetry, quartz countertops, a large island with seating for four, a six-burner gas range, microwave, separate beverage and wine cooler, and a convenient coffee station. Whether you are a seasoned espresso enthusiast or simply love sipping your morning cup, coffee lovers will enjoy the café appliances including a Keurig Pod & Carafe Coffee Maker (brew a cup or a carafe with ground coffee or K-cups), French press, Moka pot, bean grinder, milk frother, and kettle. So, grab your beans and turn your morning routine into a delightful experience - no trips or tips required! The kitchen is fully stocked with serving dishes, utensils, basic spices, and small appliances (air fryer, Instant Pot, slow cooker, rice cooker, handheld mixer, blender, and waffle maker). Share meals together at the live edge dining table with seating for eight, or step outdoors onto the covered deck complete with sofa, gas fireplace, Smart TV, dining table, and a gas grill. Whether you are enjoying the cozy warmth of the great room fireplace, preparing a meal in the spacious kitchen, or taking in the beauty of the mountains from the deck, this open-concept floor plan offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and function.

With dual living areas, Walker's Ridge has ample space to bring family and friends together or spread out and enjoy a quiet moment of relaxation. The lower-level den is thoughtfully designed for leisure and entertainment with a wet bar, beverage and wine cooler, a 75-inch Samsung Smart TV, Blu-ray player, and a library of movies and books for all ages.

Featuring three king ensuites and a bunk room, the versatility of Walker's Ridge is perfect for a large family or families and friends to stay together in complete comfort and privacy. Wake up each morning to picturesque views from the main-level primary ensuite and enjoy the elegant king canopy bed, Smart TV, and private deck access with chaise lounges. The luxurious ensuite bathroom features dual quartz vanities, walk-in shower, and a fabulous free-standing soaking tub.

Mountain vistas are seen from almost every room in the home and the lower-level bedrooms are no exception. Both ensuites offer king beds with luxury mattresses and Smart TVs. The primary ensuite bathroom features a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and dual quartz vanities. The bunk room sleeps six with queen-over-queen and twin-over-twin bunks, all with luxury mattresses. (A bathroom with a walk-in shower is conveniently located across the hall.)

Kids of all ages get ready for hours of fun in the separate, heated and cooled, game room featuring a PAC-MAN arcade, foosball and air hockey tables, PS5, and a poker table. We have something special for the “littles” too! Look for the magical playhouse tucked away in a secret nook under the stairs.

In addition to a mudroom and laundry room, printer and high-speed internet, and three gas fireplaces (great room and two outdoors), Walker's Ridge includes a phone line for emergencies and eight Smart TVs with Hulu Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN+ streaming services. There is a flat gravel parking area for 3-4 cars with only one step to enter the main floor for easy access.

One of the home's most captivating features is the outdoor space. The decks, large slate firepit patio, and private hot tub all effortlessly extend the living area to the great outdoors. Unwind and rejuvenate amidst the wonder of nature in the hot tub and end the day by firelight, gathered under the stars with family and friends.

MORE INFORMATION:
• To maintain the exceptional amenities available in Eagles Nest, all homes are subject to an amenity access fee. Some amenities are seasonal and/or subject to certain hours of operation.
• All BRMR homes have well-stocked kitchens with everything needed to prepare meals. There is a “starter set” (enough for one, maybe two nights) of paper products, including a roll of toilet paper per bathroom and paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, makeup remover cloths, hand soap, several garbage bags, a small container of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, and some laundry pods. Towels and linens are provided.
• Check-in: After 4 pm, Check-out: 10 am
• Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by the Host (Property Manager); entry information will not be sent unless signed.
• Must be at least 25 years old to reserve; person reserving must sign the agreement and must be one of the guests staying at the property for the reserved dates.
• Firewood may be added at the time of booking, under “Additional Fees,” or by contacting BRMR at least a week prior to arrival. Two wrapped bundles and fire starter - $25 plus tax, per night.
• Guests' UTV vehicles are not permitted. On-site UTV rental is available through www.OffRoadAdventuresNC.com
• The main roads are plowed in winter. However, 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November through March. Chains may also be necessary to access properties during the winter. As outlined in the Rental Agreement, refunds, allowances, or date changes will not be allowed for travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle.
• Concert events are open to all guests with a cash bar for food and drinks. (There may be a small admission fee per person.)
• Although Walker's Ridge has high-speed internet; some areas of travel on the mountain may not have cell reception.
• Eagles Nest is a growing community and construction noise may be heard Monday through Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
• Parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy are not allowed in this home at any time.
• No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the home; no trace of smoking left outside the home.
• All trash must be bagged and placed inside the trash can, inside the metal bear-proof enclosure. Do not leave any food or trash outside, including the car, as it attracts animals.
• Although the homeowner's dog has been in the home (never on beds or furniture), this home is not pet friendly for new reservations. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.
• Exterior security cameras are installed for safety. There are two Ring doorbells installed at the front doors, three floodlight cameras on the front of the house (facing the driveway and trash can area) to provide light and security at night, and a fourth floodlight camera between the house and garage, facing the road. None of the cameras monitor gathering areas, including decks, hot tub, firepit, or interior of the home. Garage is not accessible for guests.

This elk frames Appalachia in the sense of this small town pride in the mountains. In the background you can see the historic elementary school and rolling mountains and once again the North Carolina pride of the state flag surrounding this elk even though about 100ft to the right there is another flagpole with the same flags raised high and proud. We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful mountain home! From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the stunning views, fresh mountain air, and peaceful surroundings. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything our family could possibly need for a relaxing getaway.The layout was perfect for our group — plenty of space for everyone to spread out, yet cozy enough to enjoy family time together. We loved cooking meals in the well-stocked kitchen, gathering around the fireplace in the evenings, and spending mornings on the deck with coffee in hand, watching the sun rise over the peaks.The location was ideal — close to great hiking trails and scenic drives, but still quiet and private. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, making check-in easy and ensuring our stay went smoothly.We left with full hearts and lasting memories. If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and family-friendly mountain escape, this home is perfect. We can’t wait to come back!
