Beautiful and spacious living space upstairs with a wrap-around deck that allows for great sunrise viewing and multiple visits from local deer friends. The fireplace is awesome, the kitchen well appointed with everything you need, and the total space was perfect for our family of four (although more could certainly have been accommodated) Lastly, the location is so perfect! It was perfect for our family of 4! The view is STUNNING. Truly a panoramic view of mountains whether you are on the fun balcony or cooking in the kitchen. Kids loved the swings on the downstairs porch. We saw so many deer from the patio which was cool. The location is ideal!! Walking distance to several restaurants, putt putt and arcade for kids, ski rentals, and small grocery store - we loved not having to drive everywhere. So easy and fun for kids and adults. We skied Beech Mountain and it was perfect!! 5 min drive and so cool to watch the snowboarders and skiers coming down the top of mountain at the house! We had a great weekend in this comfy spot tucked right on top of the mountains. Grandfather Mountain is about 30 min away. Charging port was a super handy addition as there are not a lot of chargers nearby. Works seamlessly with Tesla but will need the adapters that come with your Tesla.No A/C but we stayed in late June and it was forecasted to be very warm in the local area but the elevation, screened windows, and included fans make it a non-issue.It deserves all the 10/10 reviews. ##### Chad T. We will stay here again. Very comfortable beds sofas and kitchen equipped with all your needs. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) and spent Thanksgiving at Head in the Clouds. The experience exceeded all our expectations! The cabin is comfy, well-decorated, roomy, and fully equipped. The view from the large balcony is unparalleled and the seating is perfect to take in plenty of stress-reducing “zen” moments. The deer will visit every day for a quick feeding and picture session. The location is perfect to jump on the slopes, or to take a quick walk to the sledding hill, brick oven pizzeria, or a cute marketplace that has everything you need. The host, Colleen, was amazing. All communications and materials provided prior to stay were excellent and very informative. She was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating with any of our needs or requests.
