"We had a great stay at Manu’s apartment. It is perfectly located to walk around Anse Vata and Baie des Citrons with plenty of spots to eat and drink and some nice boulangeries nearby.
The apartment had all we needed for a very comfortable weeklong stay including a well equipped kitchen and awesome views from the balcony.
I would love to stay again!"
"The staff were very helpful and easy to deal with.
The view was spectacular and the location is perfect for the full noumea experience.
Will definitely stay again."
"Loved the decor and very central to the port. There was a supermarket just down the road. Friendly staff. There was a kitchen but no washing up equipment. Asked and got a tea towel, dishwashing liquid and wiping cloth but no plug for sink."
"Good location, but pretty average cheap accommodation in a hostel. I had a private room which was quite large and reasonably clean, it took a long time to check in though. Air conditioning worked well. If you just need a place to sleep & shower this would be fine."

Great place to stay in Noumea!
"Nice, comfortable room, friendly front desk staff. Great location by the water and by shopping/dining options. I loved the complimentary cookies!
Only suggestion — luggage storage should be in a different area (it is currently behind the fish tank, which smells). "

"Chateau Royalw was wonderful. It is kept spotlessly clean and the staff go out of there to help you with anything you need. The pool area is beautiful and the bar will come by with free mini drinks or fruit to help you keep cool. The spa is excellent, we had two different treatments and they were both worth every penny.
Rooms are very nice and comfortable. We had a partial ocean view. The balcony was tilted downward, and pretty small so we never really used it.
My only complaint is they were putting in a new gate so the area to go down to the water had an ugly orange temporary fence and plywood, but by the time we left the new fence was almost inn.
I would definitely come back to this property again. "

"the hotel is in a very good location the staffs are very professional and very helpful made our holiday a lot better inn anyway thanks everyone at the Nouvata Mr Diep"
"New Caledonia in comparison to NZ and AU is quite expensive, you get good value for money here. It's a bit off the beaten track, which we prefer. It's dated, but has everything one would otherwise need. Be sure to take advantage of the breakfast, it's huge and only $23 NZD. We stayed a couple of different nights in a suite and each room opens out either directly to the water (level 1) or with views to the ocean (level 2) and were clean and large. The staff were lovely, having google translate helped with one of our trickier queries. The staff were very accommodating, recommend having a car, but there is a bus that ran quite frequently too (didn't use it, but there was always one whenever we went to our car). Highly recommend especially if you're just needing somewhere safe to spend the night."
