« The cabin is beautiful, and cozy, and the view from the windows is stunning, this cabin has all amenities we needed. We had a lot fun right in the backyard with sled. Also, the owner, Pete, is awesome, he answers our message immediately, keep us updated about the weather, and expended his Sunday morning to help us with our car. « It was a pleasant little cozy place. Peaceful and quiet. Host was available if needed. There is plenty to do fairly near by if are looking for some unique experiences. One thing, kitchen sink stopper needs replaced. But found another way to do the small amount of dishes that we dirtied. Overall was very pleased with the experience. « Property was as advertised, well maintained with a good variety of kitchen items. The children loved their own space upstairs with a nice variety of toys and books. « This property is beautiful. It sits right below Willow Lake trail and Challenger Mountain. Sunrises were beautiful over the mountain and sunsets were beautiful over the valley. « This was perfect for our family, as five bedrooms (and the washer/dryer) came in handy. The binder on the property was great, and we liked Crestone and the surrounding area a lot. It was a bit of a drive to the Sand Dunes entrance, but we knew that ahead of time, and the location worked well. »

The artwork is all researchable with interesting stories. 360 degree second story deck views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, San Louis Valley and all the way across the valley you can see the San Juan mountains. « This property was located about 45 minutes from The Great Sand Dunes NP visitor center. The home was very private, clean and well provisioned. Our favorite spot was the deck off of the loft which had a wonderful view of the mountains as well as the sunrise. The wrap around deck also had a great view where you could watch the sun set. There were many extras that added to the uniqueness of the rental. We would highly recommend it. »
