Fantastic Stay - Perfect Location
Linda and her husband were great hosts and the house couldn’t have been better for our trip to Glacier National Park. Just a 20-30 drive to East side entrances. The house looked just liked it was photographed. Plenty of kitchen supplies for evening dinner cooking. We appreciated the bear spray available for use (luckily went unused) and the hospitality of the hosts. Added bonus with the house was the frequent visits of their feline friend, who was sweet as can be, anytime we were outside enjoying the lake views. Highly recommend this location to anyone!

Great cabin - east side of Glacier NP
Cabin was great! Perfect location on the lake and close to the east entrance of Glacier. Cabin had all the amenities (including visits from Alice the next door cat!). Wasn't a huge option for restaurants but 2 Sisters Cafe was excellent - great menu and even better service (lunch & dinner only)! The Leaning Tree had a fantastic breakfast. Local markets were close for buying food to cook at the house. Highly recommend this place!!

Great cabin close to Many Glacier
Really loved the location of this cabin. Took about 25 minutes to get to Many Glacier. Cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. Wish there was a little more room to sit in the family room, especially with room in the house for 8. Maybe get rid of the chair and small table and do another sofa or L shaped sofa. We had 7 and one bathroom wasn't an issue. Loved the deck. The water was very soft and had a sulphur smell, hard to feel clean and even harder to drink. Not an owner issue since I'm sure that is just the area, but probably bring your own water to drink. Food in the area is an issue. We liked the pizza place and Two Sisters but everything is so expensive, especially groceries. So if you can, bring your own. Would stay here again. Owners were great and responsive.

Perfect location!
Very clean and perfect spot to rest after hiking the east side of Glacier National Park. Owners live next door and are super awesome. Sunrises are great over the lake. You’re 10 min from many glacier entrance and 20 min to st Mary entrance. I can’t express enough the importance it is to stay here or close to here to experience Glacier National Park. Those that want the amenities of of posh resort—-you’ll be a tad disappointed. Those that love accessibility to maybe the greatest park in the US, then this is your spot. Thank you so much for offering your rental to us. It was perfect!!!

We enjoyed our stay on Duck Lake. The peace and quiet was appreciated as well as breakfast and dinner on the porch with the lake as a backdrop. Four queen beds was an amazing perk and our kids loved the loft area. We watched a couple of their DVDs on the evenings we came back from the parks early as well. The proximity to both Many Glacier and St. Mary entrances was convenient. Thanks for the beautiful space and hospitality!

Great rental home, great location, homeowner Linda and her husband were great, exceptionally clean and well kept, very comfortable, also had added wifi availability in the property that had not been updated on VRBO listing site which was a pleasant surprise. Perfect location for visiting Many Glacier and East Glacier
Cabin is perfectly located for visiting the East side of Glacier National Park, just a short drive to both the St. Mary and Many Glacier entrances. Larry and Linda are wonderful hosts, welcoming and responsive to inquiries while also respectful of guest privacy. Alice, the cat, greeted us every morning on the back deck and welcomed us home every evening after a day of hiking. She is the sweetest little being. Cabin had everything we needed, including comfortable beds and lots of hot water. We cooked most evenings with the exception of two dinners out, one at Many Glacier Hotel and another at Two Sisters. Have stayed in Babb before so knew to shop in West Glacier before arriving at the cabin. WiFi and cell service were both unreliable during our stay and frustrating at times but we knew this ahead of time. Television service was also interrupted on occasion but Netflix was great and the cabin also has lots of DVDs. Fireplace kept us warm on cool evenings. Setting is beautiful and tranquil. View of the lake is stunning in the morning and at sunset. Had sun, rain, and snow all in one week. Saw plenty of wildlife in the park during our stay, including moose, big horn sheep, mountain goats, and a remarkable close encounter with a grizzly bear. Would definitely stay here again. Great stay
Linda was very nice and came over to say hello after we arrived. Property was very clean and the house was great. We appreciated the wifi and tide pods that were provided so we could do some laundry. Everything was great and I would not hesitate to book the property for a future stay.

Duck lake double rainbow
Wonderful stay at the cabin for 3 of us! Woke up to swans on the lake and enjoyed breakfast on the deck. Minutes from Many Glacier where we hiked daily. Came home to comforts of the cabin and grilled dinner. Double rainbow magic over duck lake was truly spectacular. Thank you Larry and Linda!!!

Beautiful sunrises and evenings on the deck.
Great access to GNP. A bit of a challenge to cook for 7 in the kitchen, but the deck space for dining was lovely and made it all worthwhile.

Great place! Unbeatable location!!
We had a great stay at Duck Lake and the location near both the Many Glacier and St Mary’s entrances was great! We had 7 people, 3 of which were teenagers, and it was challenging cooking for our group given the size of the kitchen/dining area. The beds were nice, the setting was peaceful, and our daughter enjoyed visits from Alice the cat. Larry was very responsive when we needed more paper towels and soap. We never ran out of hot water. Overall it was really great but our group of 7 felt a little too cozy at times.

Amazing getaway
The property was amazing! The pictures do not do the property and the location justice. Larry and Linda were fabulous hosts. My son and daughter fished right off the shore. My son caught three beautiful trout. My daughter caught her first fish ever - a large rainbow trout. We spent hours enjoying the views, watching the magpies, pelicans and we even saw one osprey. The wind would pick up and make a beautiful sound as it flowed through the many trees on the property. It was relaxation at its finest. The property is a quick 20 minutes to Many Glacier, where we saw two bull moose and spent over an hour watching a young female grizzly from the safety of our car. Alice the cat would visit us often and is a very sweet cat. We enjoyed her company! We hope to stay at this beautiful cabin again one day. It was the perfect home away from home! Roomy very nice place right on Duck Lake. Beds were comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of lake from deck and yard. Good wifi, lots of dvds to use. Owners live right next door so were there quickly to fix any issues.

We loved our stay! Plenty of room for a family of 5 to spread out and relax. The porch overlooking the lake was lovely in the early mornings and evenings. Convenient to the Many Glacier and St. Mary’s entrances to Glacier National Park. We would definitely stay in this lovely home again!

My overall impression of the property was excellent. Everything was as good as the pictures. It was the kind of rustic cabin one imagines in a place like Glacier. The property was conveniently located to the East end of the park (Many Glacier and St. Mary). The fact that Going to the Sun Road was closed made it difficult to access the other areas, but that's not the fault of the property. We were still able to get around to other areas, although it took longer. It is also very close to the Canadian border which made it easy for us to get to Waterton Park in Alberta where we spent 3 days following our stay at Glacier. For those who like to eat out, Two Sisters Cafe is a very short drive and has excellent food. The cabin itself was clean and able to accommodate 7 people which included a 13 year old. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies. We were able to access WIFI and everyone enjoyed some of the many vintage DVRs that were available. The view of the lake was great especially for bird watchers. We even spotted a moose in the distance. A n extra perk was a daily visit from the owners cat, Alice, about as friendly a cat as one could imagine. She was very solicitous as to our welfare.

We REALLY enjoyed our stay here! The view was amazing, the cabin was perfectly cleaned, & the outdoor space was so nice in the evenings! Easy location & the hosts were very kind as well! A very, very sweet & well behaved outdoor cat was an awesome bonus! I am moderately allergic to cats but this gal was very respectful of my personal space (I had no allergy issues) & just gorgeous & sweet as can be! Thank you so much to the hosts!!!!

Great cabin on Duck Lake!
My family spent four days at the cabin and we loved it...even better than the listing! It was built just a couple of years ago so everything is new. Nice view of the lake from the deck and it's just a short drive to Babb and St. Mary. The owners were extremely gracious and helpful. Be sure to walk up to the street to see the sunset over Glacier! I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

West side hiking base camp. Had one adult in each of the two main level bedrooms and two adults two children in the two queen beds upstairs. The third child (12) slept on the coach w h available blankets. Shared bathroom was interesting but plenty of hot water and accommodations were good. Kitchen was fully stocked with a grill and fire pit that we used. Duck lake is shallow off the house so any fishing will require a boat or drive. We also set up hammocks in the back yard. No AC but cooled to 72 by bed time even with the abnormal temps. Fifteen minutes to going to the sun road, 5 to the Many entrance and 45 down to two medicine. West side requires hours to these areas. After an early morning hiking we would stop at two sisters for lunch or do sandwiches, then just come relax lakeside. Occasionally go back for an afternoon hike. Dinner was grilled or take out but not a ton of restaurants so plan accordingly. Two sisters was great! Owners were awesome and supplied extra fun stuff as well as guidance for hikes and the lake. Alice the outdoor cat was a bonus for our toddler! Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and appreciate the hospitality! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for making us feel sp welcome.

We were so happy to make it this year. The home is spacious, so comfortable, and very well stocked with all the staples. So close to glacier. The views are amazing. Spent most of out time at the house on the deck overlooking the lake.

We enjoyed the serenity away from crowds with the beautiful yard facing the lake . Larry and Linda were the perfect hosts and welcomed all of us warmly. They answered all questions and their home is just lovely.

The cabin was great! Clean and well maintained. Loved how close it was to the East side of the park. The road back to the cabin was not great. No wi-fi so no way to contact family during stay. Was given a landline number for family to call if there was an emergency. Would definitely stay again if/when we come back.

Beautiful Sunrises!
This property sits right on Duck Lake and the livingroom/kitchen/dining area has large windows so you can look out over the lake. We especially enjoyed the sunrises each day as well as the harvest moon! Linda was wonderful and provides everything you need to feel right at home as well as some great tips on things to do.

Amazing home away from home for a Glacier vacation
Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) just returned from 5 wonderful days at the Duck Lake house. Linda and Larry were so kind and Linda was especially helpful as we worked out the dates of our reservation and had to make changes when Delta changed our flights. The house was the perfect place for our stay - we had plenty of room, the beds were very very comfortable, and the kitchen was terrific and well stocked. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the house and lunch on the trail each day. It was very easy to get to St. Mary and into the park; we also traveled down to Two Medicine one day (which is beautiful!). We so enjoyed coming back to the house each day after a long day of hiking, and our teenagers were thrilled at the wide choice of movies available to watch on DVD. We hope to come back and stay here again and enjoy more of Glacier. We have stayed at rental houses around the US and this is our favorite. Thank you for a great place to stay!

Girls weekend at Glacier
Our week at the Duck Lake cabin was magical! It is the perfect location to all hiking in the park (both east side entrances) which is what we were there to do. It was a great comfy warm house to come back to after a long day of hitting the trails! We utilized the kitchen, fireplace, tv and all the movies, and washer/dryer. The local restaurants were great to eat at. Larry came over and said hi, and Alice the cat visited us every day! I would definitely stay here again :)

Excellent Base Camp in Babb, Montana July 27 - August 2, 2019
My 5 star rating says it all. This was the perfect cabin to come home to after a long day of hiking in Glacier National Park. The cabin was centrally located between the St. Mary entrance and the Many Glacier entrance. We are a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of space. Love waking up to the Sunrise on Duck Lake and having Alice the cat greet us everyday. We enjoyed playing games at night before heading to our comfortable beds. Larry and Linda were welcoming and so helpful with any questions we had. We had such a wonderful time that we plan on visiting again in the future and staying in this exact cabin.

Glacier Getaway
Our family truly enjoyed this cabin. It was equipped with everything you could need and it was only about 15 mins from East Glacier. It was also very clean and had beautiful views. Our family loves to fish so we bought permits and poles and did some trout fishing. My boy’s caught 3 rainbow trout so we grilled them for dinner. The owners (Larry and Linda) were so nice and helpful! When we had questions they were always available for answers. We hope to come back to this area again sometime and would definitely rent this place again.

Lovely, Relaxing spot for east Glacier visit
This cabin is in a wonderful location to access the east side of Glacier Park. It is just a short drive to the St. Mary's and Many Glacier areas. The cabin is new and in excellent condition with many thoughtful touches that make it seem like home. Owners are next door and super helpful. Grocery store and restaurants are limited.
