« The host was very responsive. We even had 10 inches of snow one night and they had someone come and plow the driveway twice and then sent someone to shovel and salt/sand all the walks and the driveway by 8 am the next morning. The house had many amenities that made us feel at home, including spices and every utensil imaginable in the kitchen, many games and books for entertainment, and other thoughtful items in the bathrooms and rest of the house. Very well decorated with attention to detail....

« House was clean and very good communication with owners. I put 4 stars only because there was only one television which some families might not mind but was t a deal breaker we bought one and made it work. Also only window unit which is not shown in the photos so it was really cold in the front of the home vs. bedrooms but again not a deal breaker. Beautiful nature outside rabbits woodchuck birds raccoon & skunk!!! very convenient location close to grocery not far from restaurants, etc. »

« Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. Coming from Texas, we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome to Connecticut.Carol's 1860 home is nicely furnished and spotless. Crisp bed linens and oversized...

« We were put in a lodging that wasn’t the one we rented. We had no hot water and the owner wouldn’t fix so VRBO moved us to a hotel. Terrible. We have asked for a refund but have gotten no response from VRBO. As far as I am concerned this is fraud. »

« The Hanger will not disappoint. Newly remodelled and very clean rental will not disappoint. Tim provided a detailed breakdown of instructions and what to expect before our arrival. A nice quiet neighbourhood. A much appreciated the carport during the holiday snowfall. No shortage of outlets to power up our devices. Well stocked kitchen, and all new appliances. « We had a dinner for a grooms dinner and found this to be the perfect spot! The kitchen was well stocked and wonderful to cook in. Our guests were very impressed. It was immaculate and their is a Whole Foods just a block and a half away or a costco a short drive away. We loved cooking on the grill on the deck and the guys enjoyed having the gas fireplace and couches there as well! Lovely place! »
