Walk to the beach in 5 minutes, 4WD Ramp 38 is 5 min away, Kite-board in the Pamlico Sound, visit Hatteras Light (visible from the rear deck) or catch a ferry and day trip to Ocracoke. Sweet Em-Ocean is a light, spacious property located close to the beach. We spent at least half of every day at the beach and the waves were so fun! The top floor of the house-where the kitchen and living room are, is flanked by three balconies so you feel like you’re on top of the world! The beds were clean and comfortable and everything was in good working order. Beware of the fridge door, however. It’s low to the floor and we all scraped the tops of our feet at least once! Loved that the beach was right across the street. Avon is a nice town the beach was our favorite part even saw some dolphins and loved collecting shells on the beach and the bridge to get to the beach got to see a few turtles.The outdoor decks were nice to sit outside and relax and could see the ocean from a couple decks. The property is in a cute neighborhood that is very nice for walks with a stroller.
