« My friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. »
« Fabulous hotel, all staff were really helpful and friendly, it was impeccably clean, facilities were excellent. We went with our grandchildren and we all had an no amazing time. »
« Service is friendly and impeccable. The food is superb and much of it is grown on site in the kitchen garden (daily tours available). We had a birthday dinner party for 12 adults in the Garden Room and we were looked after incredibly well. Lovely scenery at no extra charge! Hugely recommended. Best to stay in the main hotel if you can rather than the wagons or sheds. »
« It is next to a busy road but I didn’t hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience. »

« Excellente nuit dans cet établissement où l'accueil a été très sympathique. Le chef sert un merveilleux petit déjeuner anglais et avec le sourire. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. La salle de bain style Victoria a fait son petit effet 😲. Pour le diner nous sommes allés au resto-pub le plus proche qui a été, en revanche, très décevant. »
