"I stayed there twice in one week. The young man at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was quiter than some places I've stayed. The breakfast does not have hot foods but have bagels, cereal, yogurt (you add toppings) boiled eggs, muffins, apples, bananas, orange and apple juice and milk. I did not go away hungry. The refrigerator does not have a freezer but it wasn't advertised that it did. It has what they advertise on their website. I would prefer extra plug in at bedside but there were plenty around table across the room."

"Red Roof Inn has never been on my radar to try. When I was younger they had a very negative reputation. With that reputation in mind, I was reluctant to book, but the other reviews were excellent and the price was right, so we took a chance. You have to know what you're getting when you book. It's a VERY basic room. A little on the small side with a tight bathroom. The towels are scratchy, only 1 chair at a desk, there's no breakfast, and very few amenities. The AC was not on before we got in the room so it was hot, but we went out to dinner and let the room cool off so that wasn't a problem. Despite the lower quality, it's clean and an inexpensive place to stay especially if you're passing through for one night and just need a place to sleep. It's in a great location right off the highway with a lot of places to eat nearby. Not much different than Quality or even Hampton, just a little lower quality. I would not hesitate to stay here again if passing through."
