We enjoyed the property very much, especially the large, beautiful deck overlooking the river. It was the perfect location to enjoy the wineries and then family time outside back at the house.
From booking to checkout, the host was extremely accommodating. The location was right along a little loop of the Grand River wineries, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful retreat. The house was cozy enough for the two of us (and our doggy) to relax by the fireplace in the evening and enjoy a coffee on the deck in the morning, yet had more than enough space that we would like to come back with friends in the future!
Valerie and husband Jim were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this beautiful place for your next stay. The views are amazing and the cabin was very spacious and clean. If we are ever back in the area, I know who we will be contacting. Thank you again, Valerie and Jim for a wonderful experience and sharing this little piece of heaven with us!!
My wife and I were here four days. Our adult sons joined us for the last couple days. We’ve enjoyed trips to the Geneva/Ashtabula area for years to visit the wineries. We usually stay in a hotel, but this was much more enjoyable. Even though the weather wasn’t good for a couple days we were very comfortable in this house. We had everything we needed for a great getaway.
Fabulous getaway for my family. We had the best time kicking back on the deck that sits right on the water. I saw a bald eagle from 15 yards away! All of the amenities were provided, great wi-fi and surround sound, as well as any cooking need you might have. Hosts were gracious and left some baby gear out for us to use, and we did! Easy to find with two different access roads…. Nice. We will go back.
This place is quite lovely, with a very pretty and lovingly cared-for yard. It is a peaceful place by the river and is quite spacious inside. Check in was easy and the wi-fi was very stable. The kitchen has lots of countertop space and the furniture and floors are quite nice. It is located on a quiet, flat street where one can take a nice walk to explore the area. It has a large front yard and a back deck that overlooks the river. There is a working grill on the deck which was nice to use after spending a day visiting wineries in the region. The beds are very comfortable, and the house has modern amenities. It’s very close to several wineries and Geneva On The Lake, and less than an hour’s drive to Cleveland. There are actually 4 bedrooms in the house but one of the larger bedrooms does not have a door (we would have preferred a door). There were Saloon doors for the bathroom located closest to the kitchen. That did not afford much privacy. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others!

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
There were no locks on sliding glass door, no smoke detectors no door on master bedroom had to walk in front of hall to get to bathroom at top of stairs, no blind or curtains on bathroom windows that face road and house to the back, toilet was not clean. no cover on outlet in laundry room said it had 3 showers but only had two one is a jacuzzi with a chandelier that you hit your head on. the one bathroom had salon doors on it no privacy. no locks on bathrooms doors. we had 3 couples, so this is not at all what we expected. We were very disappointed.
