This property has WATER ACCESS ALL YEAR ROUND as it is on main water channel of Lake Travis. -Sandy and grassy beach area that gently slopes to the water. \-The property has a private boat dock great for fishing off. \-1 single kayak, 1 double kayak included and Lilly pad floating mat. \-The Lake shack is how Texas does tropical. The lake shack looks like a house, but setup like 2 separate units - steps are outside to get to upstairs. \-Upstairs: King Bedroom, full bedroom, kitchen and living and bathroom in upper unit \-Downstairs -King Bedroom/bath with kitchen and living \- Sleeps 6 total \-1238sqft Spend time up on your MULTIPLE scenic patios & outdoor bars grilling out, drinking margaritas and enjoying the view or down by the water or on the DOCK sunbathing and swimming in lake Travis' beautiful Caribbean looking water. The guide provided is great - read it! :-) We enjoyed our time on the dock and kayaking and while fishing was not lucrative for us, it was still fun trying. We love the outside set up - amazing for morning coffee and playing family games and just sitting and relaxing day and night. Plenty of things to do in the area if you want to "get away from the house" - however, it's easy to not want to leave! The property manager/owner was very responsive, but it was hard to address some of our challenges. We are a family of 5 with small children, and it was not clear from the posting that the units were separated with an outdoor staircase, which was not ideal for needing the 3 bedrooms to be connected. The unit seemed OK, but cleanliness was lacking. The bedding had a lot of hair on it (perhaps from a dog?), the outdoor patio was very dirty (with abandoned equipment in the middle of it), the life jackets were covered in spider nests, and the hot water had an upper temperature limit set (which wasn't very comfortable). Some of the photos picture the lake water coming close to the property, but the Lake has not been that high in 3 years. The dock/water area had a lot of cables and piping around that were a bit challenging to navigate. With some TLC, this property could be really great for adult vacations. ##### Jen M. The house is like two apartments in one - one downstairs and one downstairs. Jenelle, the host, was amazing - we had a welcome package with chips and salsa, snacks, drinks - a special note for us on the chalk board and she had already anticipated the life jackets we would need. The house has a large, expansive balcony with BBQ grill and seating, and gates to keep the dogs enclosed. House is unique in that it has its own "beach" area, unlike other houses on the lake that are on steep cliffs. We rented a boat and went on a guided fishing trip, and both were able to just pick us up in our cove. Even with the lake pretty low these days, adults and kids had lots of fun on the water, kayaking, jumping on the splash pad, fishing, etc! Will definitely consider staying there again if we head up for a lake weekend. ##### Kian G. Lake was just steps away and it was fun hanging out on the dock. They provide life jackets, inner tubes, kayaks, and the lily pad!! Pictures don’t do it justice!! So many fun things to do here and had everything we could have asked for in a lake experience.
