Myself and my daughters stayed and we spent so much time trying to take in all the special touches like the history of the house and of Shirley, very cool to read about! And Duke the hounddog was the perfect touch, he roams Shirley getting love and food from everyone. Perfect place to stay so you're in the middle of all the towns to go and do and experience mountain life! Very clean, very homey, just overall a perfect home to stay in!! Also the field and the zero radius chairs, perfect for star gazing! We will definitely be back!! "

"Mood Shadow is a terrific place for the family to get away for a great lake experience. It's right on the water with a private cove right in front of the cabin. Sugarloaf Marina is only about 25 minutes to rent a boat and enjoy Greer's Ferry Lake. The actual driveway to Moon Shadow is an 'experience' and 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle is probably best. But, if you take your time, it's not a problem at all. My family loved this spot!"
