"Our stay was very good overall, but there were a few things that could use some improvement. The towels and washcloths were somewhat thin and rough. The first morning the water was not as hot as I prefer for my shower, plus the shower head only had two settings. Our TV remote worked rather sketchily, even after replacing the batteries."

"The man at the front desk was super nice, and helpful. But the room was pretty gross. The cabinets were dirty , drawers had crumbs and dirt. The ac did not work. The man at the front tried to help and be accommodating but we decided to stay elsewhere , so we received a full refund with no problem."

"Pet friendly rooms with little grass patios for your dog to use the bathroom. Cute and retro furniture. Very clean room. Great front desk service. "

"Our room looked nothing like the one in the picture. It looked much older. It was clean, but definitely dated, not like the much newer, fresher looking room in the pictures. They are clearly trying to save money by only including certain in-room amenities when requested. Our room did not have a plastic bag for our dirty clothes, and it didn't even have a "do not disturb" sign. We had to go back up to the front to request these things. On the second day of our stay, we requested clean towels and were told they were out. To their credit, they did bring clean towels to our room later in the day, but how does a hotel run out of towels in the first place? Also they seemed to be extremely short staffed, as on a couple of occasions I had to wait quite a while at the front desk to be served. And the person manning the front desk was the same person servicing the breakfast room, so at one point they had run out of sausage and it took a really long time to find the front desk person to let them know, and then an even longer time for them to finally have the opportunity to come refill the sausage. I don't blame the employee for this, they were doing what they could. The hotel needs to have more people on staff. All in all, it wasn't terrible, but we were definitely expecting a lot more based on the reviews. It was your basic, run-of-the-mill discount motel."

"Disappointed I did not see there was a $12 a day parking fee for Larkspur. Especially as they share the hotel parking with Hilton. Stayed 5 days at Larkspur and switched to Hilton last 2 days. Hilton was less expensive for room, and no parking fee which again shared parking with Larkspur. Just a greedy attempt to collect more money. Larkspur room was small. Didnt like the bag breakfast required to order day before. Ordered a bagel and no toaster in room or in community area. Was told toaster in room and opened all doors and drawers and still no toaster. "
