"Overall we were quite disappointed in this hotel. It carries the "Savoy" name but is considerably rough around the edges. One of the four hotel buildings is actually an incomplete building site. The finishings in the rooms are of a quite sub-standard (poor tile grouting, marble still have writing on it from installation, our balcony door would not lock). The hotel also charges too much for some services, given their quality. For example, the evening buffet cost around £25 per head but the food was overall fairly poor. We only ate there as our flight arrived late. Another example is that the hotel charges £20 per person for 1 hour of hot tub use, even if you have purchased spa treatments. Every other spa I have ever been to would include this for free if you had booked treatments. Cocktails are also exorbitant prices. The staff were generally very helpful, but no more so than a normal hotel."

I travel a great deal and am a proponent of supporting individual property owners vs. enriching large corporations (hotels). I can easily classify this one as one of top 5 places where I stayed, and I’m usually not easy to please."

"Staff cannot do enough to ensure comfort and calm. Sourced onwards taxi quote and drew me a map to local shop! Room absolutely spotless - fantastic nights sleep. Prepared a tasty omelette when my incoming friend’s plane was delayed and she reached hotel later than expected. Gorgeous sofas and marquetry in reception area."

"Great stay! Free upgrade to a suite! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Huge pools. Area is very walkable into the Medina there are taxis out the front waiting of you do need one. I would stay here again! "

"A real shame. The hotel looked a bit tired. Can stop thinking about the £10 they charged me for a coke and the fact there was nothing available but a £40 lunch buffet which I regretted as soon as I sat down. There are better places for the money."

"Stunning boutique hotel with attentive staff and a delicious French restaurant. The grounds are gorgeous and the main pool is the longest and most picturesque I have ever seen. Spectacular!"
