This home features \-Steps to the Bay \-3 blocks to the Beach \-Perfect Margate Location, walking distance to everything \-Walking distance to Longport \-Fast WiFi \-Fully-equipped Kitchen Newly renovated 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage in prime Margate location. The first bedroom features 1 queen bed. The second bedroom features bunk beds (each full size) with LED lighting The entire cottage, including the huge outdoor kitchen area. The outdoor kitchen consists of a grill and sink. The fridge and the ice maker are not functioning. Margate is the best of everything the Jersey Shore has to offer! It is a community of beautiful beaches and dramatic bay views. Margate is perfect for those who want to enjoy a small town lifestyle with access to big city nightlife. Its sense of community shines through its stunning mix of new homes and those which have stood along the tree and fountain-lined streets for over 100 years. Margate boasts numerous places to worship, shop and play; including a tree-lined walkable business district filled with restaurants, cafes and boutique shops offering a variety of eclectic wares and mouth-watering flavor profiles. Our waterfront boasts some of the most stunning sunsets along the Jersey Shore and there are many draws for those who enjoy watersports, including paddle-boarding, jet skiing, fishing and boating. After a day on the water, enjoy a meal on the waterfront at one of our many restaurants which feature fare from casual to meals that will satisfy the most select palate. Margate has many opportunities for the vacationer looking to be in the middle of everything. After you have seen our National Historic Landmark, the famed Lucy the Elephant, join the nature lovers birdwatching in the nearby marsh areas or travel to our neighboring communities like Atlantic City where the opportunities for date night include comedy shows, concerts and casinos. Margate hosts the largest beach party at the Jersey Shore every summer, Beachstock. \-There is another house on the property. The outdoor shower is shared. Please note that the backyard is adjacent to other rentals, so you will likely see other visitors while you\`re enjoying the outdoors. House Rules: No parties or events – Let’s keep things low-key and relaxed. No drugs or illicit behavior – Safety and respect for everyone are key. No smoking, vaping, or marijuana – Please keep it out of the home, off the balconies, and at least 25 feet away from the building. Quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am – We strictly enforce this to ensure everyone gets a good night’s rest. No Sand - please make sure to wash off any sand before entering the home. Let’s keep the beach at the beach! Registered guests only – No additional guests or overnight visitors unless they’re listed on your reservation. No shoes inside – Helps keep the place clean and cozy. Toilet paper only in the toilet – Keeps the plumbing happy! Keep the home clean and tidy – Report any damages or missing items to us right away. Follow all city and building bylaws – It helps everyone get along. Age Requirement: Guests must be 25 years or older. Fee Schedule: $500 for removing any or all guests/occupants. $500 for excessive noise. $500 for smoking. $500 for breaking any house rules. $1000 for clogging toilets with inappropriate items like baby wipes or small objects. $50 per hour for unauthorized late check-out. $50 per person for unlisted guests or exceeding the booked number of guests. We may remove any retaliatory reviews related to violations of these rules. Guests agree to cover any damages resulting from rule violations, including property damage, damage to common areas, and lost revenue due to canceled reservations. The host was very helpful and always quick to respond. The unit came with more things than most VRBOs I have stayed in (kitchen condiments, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) The outdoor area was so cute to hang out in too and very private. Like some other comments have mentioned, we did wish for a bit more privacy at night since the shades felt a bit sheer - but the unit is so tucked away that it wasn’t an issue. We were 2 people, but it would easily accommodate a couple of our kids as well. The main living space was lovely - back bedroom with custom lighting and bunks was such a fun space that my dog and I chose to nap and read there. The patio + outdoor kitchen were great. There was no need to bring bedding, toiletries, cooking utensils, beach bikes - everything was there and of high quality. This location on a quiet street between the beach and bay could not be more convenient. Great restaurants abounded and the Margate beach (in mid-September) was beautiful. Also, this is very close to OC, AC, Avalon, ... The property is truly dog-friendly, and we visited nearby Malibu Dog beach every day. Nutshell: We would come back to this wonderful Margate cottage in a heartbeat ... our highest praise for the place and property managers! ##### Amy G. Very nicely updated and furnished with all the things you need and want. All the electronic conveniences - televisions in every room, outlets and charging ports in all spots. The outdoor kitchen was amazing. We were here in November so it wasn't something we used, but it look like it would be so wonderful in warmer seasons.
