I loved the choice of wall art, which is not normally worth mention. I also loved the humorous additions, mainly a frog, a flamingo, and an adorable pelican. The kitchen was excellent, probably the best layout I've seen in a rental, and the bedrooms were comfortable and well furnished. The sunsets on the deck were spectacular and the house was well appointed. A few blocks to the bay beach (we walked to the entrance on Bay Ct off of Ocean Drive to have some distance from the cars on the drive-on beach) and a short drive to the ocean beaches closer to the center of town. Just about everything you need on vacation is in the apartment. The location is convenient for quick trips into A.C. The host was responsive and offered a couple of good restaurant suggestions. It did take longer than expected to get my security deposit refund but it was resolved after a couple of weeks. Spectacular sunsets and a very peaceful place to unwind in the evening. The natural fireplace in the living room was also a nice feature. The owner, Julia, is terrific and handled any of our questions quickly, and her primary concern was always with the enjoyment of our vacation. Which we certainly did.
