A smartlock is located on the screened porch entry and with an access code being provided prior to arrival. The property hosts, Jake & Emily, live next door to the cottage in the white house with the blue door. We fully embrace and respect the privacy and independence that most guests prefer, but are always happy to answer any questions during your stay should the need arise. Maple Avenue is a quiet, safe, & family-friendly neighborhood known for its charm and access to the best of Marietta Square and to Atlanta. Within a short walk you can enjoy all the Square has to offer. Additionally, the cottage is only a 5 minute drive to the renown hikes of Kennesaw Mountain making it the perfect stay for nature lovers and fitness enthusiasts. An extensive guide book is provided that details favorite local restaurants, shops, neighborhood walks, and more. Situated nearby to Interstate 75, guests can be at The Battery (go Braves!) in about 15 minutes and downtown Atlanta in about 25 minutes. The cottage has a designated paved driveway, so parking is a breeze. All streets in the neighborhood are well lit and with sidewalks, so going for a stroll or jog is easy and enjoyable. We love our town and all that it has to offer and we hope you will take advantage during your stay. To nudge our guests in that direction, we provide each stay with a gift card to Tuesday Coffee & Shoppe on Marietta Square. Be sure to say hello to our dear friends and owners of Tuesday, Andrew and Morgan, when you stop by. No parties or large gatherings. We flew in the night hurricane helene hit; the hosts proactively communicated about hurricane prep and were very responsive to the questions I had before we arrived. We got to the cabin in the middle of the night because of flight delays, and the checkin process was super easy. Cabin was adorable, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were very thoughtful with the information they provided about the house and the area and gave us a lovely welcome gift.
