"We had to change rooms because the bathroom had a hole in the shower head, and my kids didn’t feel comfortable stepping in. The tub looked like somebody had messed up and was trying to cover it up with paint and the paint didn’t stick. Also, appliances like coffee/hot water kettle were broken. Staff was okay, she wanted to make us wait a day before changing rooms but moved us right away. Also, prepare to pay for hidden parking fees with deposit. The hotel charges $18 a night. Additionally, the airplane noise was insane at night. We heard planes taking off every 30 minutes throughout the night"

"Overall we had a wonderful stay. The location excellent. Lovely part of town and safe. Initial impression is the hotel is dated and lobby dark. It would benefit from a refurbishment. However It is clean and the rooms are spacious and bright. The rooms aren't perfect, there are a few cracks on the walls but it is clean, spacious and bright. Actually the rooms are nice. Comfortable bed and good quality linen. Starbucks complimentary coffee maker in room. Wow! Lacking in wardrobe space but we made it work. There was an iron and hairdryer which was great. The food court is nice to have access to and beyond that is the excellent Colony square with restaurants and other activities being held. There was a huge yoga session being held in the square. We discovered a healthy and tasty take out option called The brown bag. The shrimp dinner plate was delicious, as was the shrimp and salmon combo. One comment in general- We found the food tasty in the varierity of restaurants we visited from Steamhouse to STK but all were heavy on salt. Atlanta restaurants need to hold back on the salt! It's so unhealthy. I prefer to add salt if required. You can't remove salt once added so please bear this in mind. Btw- Steamhouse restaurant was a welcome find. Snapper and fried grits were delicious. I actually don't usually like grits."

"The area was decent. The hotel is located directly across the street from Lenox mall. The room I was placed and had a broken sink and it was the only king size bedroom available, so I was stuck in the room with no sink for the duration of the night the following day I was placed in my new room at 5 PM."
