Booked stay mid-week as listing was available for my dates. No contact by host for rest of week. Messaged host the day before my stay for information on access.
Host responded at 1:30am the day of stay to let me know that location was "double booked for some reason. There has been a guest staying for last two days." Refunded my stay a few minutes later.
Host did offer 10% off at current rate when I stay next. Not much I could do with that when I have family coming later that day and nowhere to stay. Not sure if Vrbo or host is at fault here but me and my family are the ones who lost in the end..
