I came to Atlanta from Montgomery to take my son to the hospital. He ended up staying a week at piedmont and when he was released we just wanted a quiet place to relax. There were several things i really liked about this property. First, the price. For a 1 bedroom rental in downtown Atlanta with a full kitchen and balcony the price was cheaper than some of the 3 star hotels around. The lengths they go to for safety and security are definitely above and beyond. The check in process was so simple, if you can read, you can check in. It was so quiet although there were several guests staying on the same floor. Everybody was very respectful of each other. So after a great night of sleep in a very spacious king bed, I decided I needed to stay one more night before traveling back to Alabama., I emailed the property first to ask if I could just extend my reservation and stay in the same room. Then I remembered I booked thru a third party so I booked again thru the same said third party and the rate was the same and after my reservation was complete I got a message back from the property that I was good where I was and would not have to swap rooms. The cleanliness not just in the room but in the hallways and all over the property was amazing. Shout out to the housekeeping staff at Dorsen., I never write reviews but I was so impressed with this place I had to give them the recognition they earned and deserve. It was lukewarm for a moment when we got in the shower at night but got freezing cold within minutes. The next morning, same thing. This stay was not worth the cost per night. Great size, full kitchen with utensils, washer/dryer, living room, etc. The bed was only a queen, not a king, and it wasn't the most comfortable, but it was ok. wifi was slow but it worked. Most of the issues are that there is no lobby or person to talk to if we need to. We send email to the info address, but didn't get replies back. They have no communication skills at all. I asked for an early check in for days and then they responded at the last minute and said they do have one for a fee. I agreed to the fee but they never sent me the link required. They make you do outrageous identity checks. They have a stay for 6 people but as far as the sofa pull out bed goes, they don’t offer sheets or pillows so my friends had to book another hotel. When I told them I needed at least a place to store my luggage, they ignored me and come to find out they actually do have a storage room. I was here for an event at City Winery, which is five minutes away. It was easy and cheap to uber there and back. The property is nice. Just as shown in photos. It was perfect for my overnight stay. The directions to check in were provided to me timely and when I was confused about the parking situation, they responded to assist. I figured it out before they responded but it was good to know they were available. The only thing that I’d recommend is to put that you’ll need the apartment code for garage and elevators in the check in information. Otherwise wonderful and convenient stay! This will be my go-to spot in the future! Not the property fault at all but getting off the exit to get to this location was nothing short of horrendous in terms of traffic!!!
