I offer a Queen size bed with a twin trundle bed beneath, a couch, and a "secret" twin size bed under the stairs. ENTRY & PARKING: Private side entry with a smart lock. I'm happy to meet you at check-in but if it's a late check-in, you'll still be able to gain entry easily. Also, overnight parking is in the main driveway but you can park on the street for short periods. Must walk through a lit, grassy area to get to private entry door. BEDROOM: Serene bedroom with a queen sized bed. Room has pull down black out curtain to make sleeping in a breeze. Windows overlook the side yard and also has a partial street view. When blinds are open, the room gets great sunlight. The bed is high as it sits on a trundle but a stepping stair is provided. ● Queen bed on risers ● Twin trundle bed ● Chaise lounge chair ● Desk ● Ironing board ● Hangers LIVING ROOM: Comfortable living room with smart TV. I offer Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney +, Apple TV and ESPN. Also, there are other apps you can sign into with your own subscription. Built in cabinets house books, both children and adult books, board games and puzzles. KITCHENETTE/DINING: Small but charming kitchenette with almost everything you need minus a dishwasher. Toaster over vs. a full oven. Bar seats 4\. Counter height table seats another 4. UNDER STAIRS NOOK: Hidden away under the stairs you will find a little nook with a twin size mattress. Kids love feeling like they are sleeping in a secret garden. Big enough for 2 small children or 1 adult. NOTE: We own a friendly dog that does NOT enter the basement suite. Also, this is a basement unit in the South. Even though the property is sprayed for pests, there is a potential you may still see bugs like centipedes in very hot and wet weather. EXTRAS: ● Stone Mountain Park is nearby. I have a parking pass available upon request. $50 replacement fee if not left behind at check-out. If you take it, you own it. GOOD TO KNOW: Children do live in the house so although the space has been sound-proofed, you may still occasionally hear children at play weekdays from 4p-9\. So, if you want a 1000% proof silent retreat, this may not be the space for you. Also, please remember that this is part of our home, not a luxury listing or hotel. The first bedroom is shown in both bedroom pictures. The second bedroom is actually a very low pink double bed. It would be fine for children but I would not enjoy it as an adult. The bathroom was nice and common living area was cozy. The main bedrooms bed was broken on arrival (I don’t think owner knew this) and she was unable to fix it while we were there. I understand things happen but it was a little frustrating to be honest. We were unable to use the trundle and it was a little wonky to sleep on a lopsided bed. The kitchen is just a kitchenette, but it does have 2 mini fridges, so adequate space. Hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. The sink is very tiny. We were disappointed to find there was no bath soap or shampoo provided. The bed under the stairs was not comfortable, but the couch was, so we used that instead. Upon checking in we noticed there wasn’t enough towels and wash rags available (listing states it sleeps 7 however only 3 towels and 2 wash rags were provided), the dish soap dispenser was empty, we also noticed tons of dust throughout the property, and stains on carpet floor. We felt this wasn’t a deal breaker so we chose to stay. Not too long after checking in I texted the owner around 9am to inform her we needed towels and wash rags, around 6pm I sent another text for a follow-up as we still did not receive the towels and wash rags. Around 11pm, we noticed a very large roach crawl out from under one couch and went under another couch. We moved the couch to confirm it was a roach. I took a video of it and requested the owner come down to the basement area and address it. From moving the couch we also noted a ton of trash and food wrappers under the couch. When the owner came down a few minutes later she never apologized about the roach, and when we raised the issue of the food wrapper and trash she said she does not move the furniture when she cleans. In the process of the owner taking care of the roach she stated she needed to spray again (which indicates she knows this is an issue). In the middle of the night we discovered a large roach in the bathroom, and in the morning a smaller roach crawling up the wall. This proved to be an unsuitable place for a family to stay and we had to find other accommodations. ##### Angie F. The space was sufficiently roomy for me, my fiancé and our infant.
