The best hotel in Athabasca . Front desk are friendly and very helpful , room is clean even pet friendly . I have been couple times there . High recommended in Super 8

This is probabaly the best place to stay in Athabasca.

The overall experience was meh. The room was nice and big. The cleaning was horrible. Our shower had black mold along the grout lines and pink "sludge" (it cam literally be wiped with your finger) arojnd the base of the tub..so it seemed that it hasnt been cleaned in months. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm. The staff was friendly, although we often had to wait a few minutes for them to come back to the front desk (not too concerning). I cut myself on the hotel property, and they were quick to give me a band aid to stop my bleeding. Overall, i dont think i would stay here again, just due to the cleanliness bwing gross (i own a cleaning company, and have worked in multiple hotels, so i know how clean it should be).

The price was a little high for what you get, but I guess because it was in Athabasca, that may have had a bearing on the pricing of the room. For example, I stayed the following night in a hotel in Vegreville, for about $50 less for a nicer room and nicer property.

The gym had one elliptical and one treadmill - both were in rough shape and need upgrades immediately.

The Super 8 was a pleasant surprise. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable. I liked the fact that there was an A&W built in.
