"Beautiful hotel--exactly what I was looking for. Just a short walk away from key Goonies sites (Flavel House, old county jail). Right across the street from a good restaurant and a short walk away from many more. Cozy lobby where I sat by the fire when I came in from the rain in the afternoon. Very comfortable and clean room, heated bathroom floor, nice view. Good breakfast included. If I have the chance to come back to Astoria, this is absolutely where I would want to stay. It is worth noting that the hotel does NOT have parking. You have to find a place on the street or in a lot that's about half a block away (but was full when I arrived). There is a space right out front to park briefly for check-in (limit of 15 minutes), but it may be necessary to park a couple of blocks away. This isn't actually a big deal, just be aware that if you're on your own and can't quickly drop off luggage at the curb with another person, you'll need to pull your luggage down the sidewalk from wherever you park."

"I got into town early and was greeted by Brooklyn, a very nice young lady. She got me checked in early and asked what kind of room I preferred. "

"We loved everything about our stay. We got a double queen partial ocean view. We loved the fireplace in the room and we swam in the pool/used the hot tub every day. The staff were so friendly and our rooms were always clean when we got back. We loved the continental breakfast too, it was so nice starting the day with a hot meal. I also really appreciated the separate room in our hotel room for privacy. That was an unexpected surprise. It was literally right next door to the aquarium and walking distance to the mall and the shops. Our whole family had such a great time! We'll definitely stay here again!"
