"Super friendly staff. The family suite was very clean. The water valves in the shower were backwards, but once we figured that out, we just ran with it. We were there on an event weekend, so waited a bit longer for our dinner. We were content visiting with one another while we waited. Our drinks were covered by the staff due to our wait. We hadn't asked or offered any complaint, so that was both unexpected and appreciated. We would certainly stay again, if in the area."

"The pool area was really well kept and clean. The whole property was clean, as were the rooms. The staff was very friendly upon check in. Comfortable beds! Would definitely stay here again!"

"It was a serviceable enough room for the price, which I thought was on the high side, but it is on Lake Superior. The pull out couch, as most are, was awful. The head was lower than the feet. My back paid the price. I would rate the room 3 out of 5. We did not have a lot of contact with staff and we did not eat breakfast at the hotel."

"This is a nice, small, and very clean motel. The manager was nice and helpful. I stayed more than one night and have no complaints. Parking is available on site as well as next door. A large, well known gas station chain has a location right next door and Ashland has a lot to offer when it comes to food and drink options. I suggest going downtown to check out all the amazing murals on some of the buildings and go see the sites and view of the lake. I have been to Ashland more than once and I always have a good time when I’m there."
