"Stayed here for one night after landing at Gatwick as it was a reletiveky short distance away. The building is lovely, in a very quiet area. The rooms are classic for an older property with sloping floors, that took some getting use to, but added to the character. The restaurant and bar were great, very bespoke design and stylish, but as the weather was good we got to sit on the terrace. The food was exceptional but only ecliosed by the staff. "Beautifully furnished and quiet, very spacious room. Lisa is a consummate host and went to loads of trouble decorating the breakfast room to celebrate Easter. The breakfasts are fantastic too. There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if...

"We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available.
