The dust on the master bedroom furniture was so thick we could write our names. The sheets seemed unclean so we had to wash them before we slept. They came out and cleaned the floors. No refund or discount just an apology in the form of an email. Would not recommend this property based on the response and the uncleanliness. Mistakes happen but more should’ve been done. The location is very convenient and we were able to walk to many locations and to quickly drive to other attractions. Be aware that (like many cities) Asheville is experiencing a homelessness problem downtown. There are also street musicians with loud sound systems who may treat you to a Led Zeppelin concert into the night. As far as the property goes, it is showing its age -- overall style, evidence of water damage in the MBR bath and on the LR ceiling. It lacks good sound-proofing between the units (smaller bedroom). There was also a persistent dank smell in the hallway. With a thorough re-do, it would be a great unit for a vacation visit.
