"We loved the rugs in the casita and the full-sized stove and fridge in the kitchenette. The washer and dryer came in handy and the gas stove made for cozy evenings. Everything we needed was there. The best part is the little deck over the stream under the beautiful trees. The neighbors are friendly and the subdivision is very quiet. The caretaker is super nice and very responsive. "A gorgeous property. The house is so unique, comfortable and beautiful, it is really a treat to stay there. We loved the views! The yard is so lovely and peaceful with the stream gurgling through the trees. The hot tub was delightful. The kitchen and dinning area were wonderful for meals. We had a wonderful time and would love to return."

"The overall experience was good at the Royal Bear! The place was cozy and had a lot of character to it. The downside was that the gas stove was broken so we had to use the wood burning stove. It was a lot of work to get it lit and my hair still smells like a bonfire. Both of the beds were uncomfortable so our group did not get very good sleep. It's walking distance to a grocery store and Aceq which is a really amazing restaurant! Great access to the ski resort as well."

"Well stocked house - lacked large fry pan and cereal bowls but caretaker quickly provided. No hot tub towels. Property tidy and fairly clean but a thorough cleaning was needed of the kitchen cupboards and tables (we washed them down - quite sticky and dirty) also the oven and overhead fan was not clean. Thorough cleaning necessary for future. Dining room light bulbs were out and the smoke alarm had been removed from the casita, plus flickering light in the casita. Despite the above, our stay...

"This property was stunning with a great view of the mountains and a lot of lush trees that blocked the view of other houses and the beautiful acacia running right through the back yard. The overall impression given by the property was an isolated mountainside house. The inside was beautifully decorated and comfortable and the neighbors were incredibly kind and talkative. Any problems were quickly and effectively addressed by the property manager which made our stay even more pleasant."
