Ann Marie was a wonderful host and we were able to communicate easily through google translate. The VRBO was well situated - close to city center - and had everything our group desired. The beds were comfortable and the linens had that wonderful “just dried on the line” fresh small. Our only difficulty was with the stairs. They are steep, winding. and narrow. We knew about them ahead of time and just reframed them as part of the history of the space.

Great Arles Location
Thanks to Anne Marie for a great stay in her Arles apartment. Despite the language barrier, communication with her was easy and she was flexible with regard to check-in and check-out times. The apartment was great and located near Place Paul Dormer, which we loved. The apartment is on four floors and the circular staircase to the bedroom levels may be a problem for some, though it wasn't for us.

Wonderful all around
Awesome experience:. Owner (Anne Marie) was a prompt, accurate and friendly communicator and host (very effectively used Google Translator to communicate). She met us at the train station - how nice! - and drove us the property - so easy and convenient. Beautiful, wonderfully renovated old house with a lot of character in the historic part of Arles; well-working aircondition in every room; Anne-Marie had bread, jam, mineral water, wine and coffee in the kitchen for our arrival - very sweet. WIFI worked great throughout the house. 3 separate bedrooms, great showers, plenty of towles. Restaurants, grocery store, historic sites all in closest proximity. There are many parking opportunities in public parking areas within 5-8 min walking distances. Our experience with the property and property owner was perfect.

Loved our stay in Arles and especially Anne-Marie!
Arles is more of a working class city as opposed to Avignon with it's touristy boulevards but that's what we loved about Arles. We wandered the narrow streets and ate at the local cafe's and had a wonderful six days. Arles is also a great central location for exploring other sites like Pont du Gard, Avignon, Carcassone and Le Baux. We loved the location of Anne-MarieLs apartment in a residential neighborhood in the mostly locals La Rochette neighborhood. The apartment is well equipped, clean and in a great location. Most of all we loved Anne-Marie. She is sweet and gracious and by the end of our stay we wanted to take her home with us!

Great location in a charming city
We really enjoyed our stay at Anne-Marie’s place. She stocks the kitchen with just what you need after a long trip and makes recommendations for a wonderful local bakery. Many great restaurants are within a three minute walk. We used Arles as our launching pad for a week on Provence and were very happy with our choice.

La vie antique
Arles is a a wonderful city with so much to offer. Anne-Marie's apartment is in the perfect locale to explore the city and see everything. The apartment itself is so quaint and so French. The four levels offer privacy at night and the air conditioning works very well. Anne-Marie supplies everything one needs to begin your stay- coffee, bread, jam, butter, water, toiletries. She was the perfect hostess. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, perfectly located home
Perfect location in the heart of Arles. Anne-Marie welcomed us warmly upon arrival and trusted us with her lovely brick house centrally located in the town of Arles.The three large bedrooms and two bathrooms were plenty for our family of five. The kitchen and living area were all well furnished and the clementines, chocolates, teas and jams made for a nice homey touch. Walking distance to all attractions in town and 20 Minutes away from charming sea village Saintes Maries de La Mer.
