This lovely 2 bedroom apartment suited our needs. The beds were comfortable. We were in walking distance to downtown and a grocery store. The hosts did a great with communication.

Wonderful location walking distance to Arcata’s shops and restaurants. We appreciated the covered garage space as well. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. The unit felt fairly spacious. Cleanliness was an issue. There was a layer of dust throughout the kitchen on top of appliances. Some of the towels didn’t seem to have been washed properly and smelled. The toilet was running very slowly when we arrived and eventually clogged. After considerable effort with the plunger we got it running again but it was still running slow.

During my trip I actually had the opportunity to meet the host, he was such a good guy! We talked for a minute and we went our way but I look forward to the chance to thank him in person again some day. The accommodations were better that advertised and I hope the place is available for next years father and son trip! Thanks again for making this one to remember!!!

The beds were fantastic - super comfortable with quality linens. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The host was extremely considerate and responsive. The location was excellent - two blocks away from Arcata’s lovely plaza at the center of town. In the other direction, the Arcata marsh and wildlife refuge was five minutes away and a great place to go for a morning run. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location in downtown Arcata with your own covered parking was wonderful. Kitchen is thoughtfully supplied with equipment. Very comfortable space. Could walk everywhere I needed to get around for the local bird festival here, godwit days. Thanks, Larry!

The location was great, close to the downtown square and the beds were comfortable. The first water out of the kitchen sink was black and we were unsure if the water was ok to drink as there was a Brita, but the filter was expired, so we bought drinking water. The kitchen is very light on equipment and we had to ask for a sponge and a coffee pot. The dishes had to be washed before we could use them. There were limited kitchen and bath towels and just one pot holder. Overall, the place did not feel very clean, including dirty floors and dusty blinds. But the worst part was the fact that the (only) toilet overflowed the first morning of our stay and flooded everywhere. They did get a handy person out quickly, but it really delayed our day, and we felt like the backwater wasn’t cleaned up very well, and we weren’t confident that the toilet was fixed.
