"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). "The property is typical french quirky and generally enjoyable - since the house is 17th century we can forgive the dim lights and basic electrics. The sewage issue (day 2) was sorted very quickly - this can happen anytime and communications with the manager were very quick. "Lovely relaxing stay, wish it could have been for longer. Adrian and Ann-Marie are super hosts. The gite was clean and comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. The outside deck was perfect for meals and relaxing in the afternoons/evenings after visiting local villages. And the pool was warm and a great size - we often had it all to ourselves. Would highly recommend."

"Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Had some trouble with the hot water to wash basin & sink but managed ! The apartment was a little gloomy but the weather was bad when we went which didn’t help. It’s a basement conversion so the approach to the entrance was not very attractive with very high walls. Great value for money though & excellent location for the town & medieval city."
